LoL Patch 13.24 Patch Notes: All Changes On The PBE Server

Patch 13.23 recently came to the live servers. Let's check out all the buffs, nerfs and new skins of 13.24 so you're up-to-date!

It's time for LoL Patch 13.24 to grace the rift. This is the final patch of the 2023 League of Legends season, with it even bleeding over into 2024. While we won't have a preseason as usual, there are some pretty insane changes in this patch.

A brand-new high skill champion is being added to the rift, and we are going to be getting the brand-new game mode Arena as well. So let's go over all the balance changes that Riot have planned for the last patch of the year. 

LoL Patch 13.24 Patch Notes: Hwei Revealed

Hwei is the newest League of Legends champion. Unlike the previous champions released in 2023, he's going to be a high skilled mid laner. The catch? He's got 10-abilities. Yes, players love to complain about overloaded kits, well here is one for you.

  • R minimum / secondary knockout duration: 0.3 >>> 0.6

Galio

Vel'Koz

  • Travel time reduced 0.55 flat >>> 0.25-0.55 seconds (based on distance)
  • Missile now spawns at cast location
  • No longer draws the circle indicator until after the 0.25 second cast time
  • Fixed a bug where the spell would fizzle when Vel'Koz Flashes or is knocked-back at max range

LoL Arena Release In LoL Patch 13.24

LoL Arena is coming back for the Winterblessed event. We were promised a return at the start of December and with this patch getting released early in December it's the perfect time. 

This second-run of Arena will feature some differences though, with Riot adding in changes to the pick/ban phase, where only the first partner of the duo will blind pick their champion, while the second gets to see the other palyers picks and then choose his champion. 

There are going to be some old cameos from the Soulfighter event as well, and adding two new cameos from the Winterblessed skin line to spice things up.

New LoL Skins In Patch 13.24

Winterblessed 2023

We are also going to be getting some new skins along with a new in-game event. The World's 2023 event is over, and it's time to check out the next in-game event which will feature nine new skins!

  • Camille Prestige

The Senna skin will be her second legendary skin and it looks incredible. This is going to be a super nice event with some incredible skins and the story line of the Winterblessed skin line is also pretty cool. 

Crystalis Motus

Crystalis Motus Taliyah will also be leaving the mythic shop, and we are moving onto the next skin in this rare and unique skin line: Crystalis Motus Ashe. The Ashe skin will be made available in the mythic shop for 3-months before we move onto a new skin, or even a whole new skin line. 

LoL Patch 13.24, is going to release on December 6, 2023 and is going to be live until January 9, 2024, when the new patch for Season 14 drops.
