League of Legends Quotes: The Best Champion Voice Lines

Lore 03-12-2023 13:00

While League of Legends is a video game primarily for young adults, there are some voice lines in the game that really make you think otherwise. Or there are some that are just silly. The mix of different characters and their quotes are what makes the game memorable to me and many others. Let's check out my personal favorite champion quotes.

League of Legends has some of the best character design in all gaming. Some champions are just little kids with a thing for fire, others are ancient gods who have fought against void creatures. Eternal warriors that long for death versus the aspect of twilight as a little girl.

These characters have their own lives and background, their own stories to tell and interactions with other characters in the story. I will tell you about my personal 10 favorite quotes in the game. As someone who loves the lore, I deeply appreciate the depth that riot has given some champions.

League of Legends Quotes: The Top 10 Voice Lines From The Games

10: Camille, The Steel Shadow

Anything worth doing is worth doing right.

Starting off strong with a Camille quote that shows the importance of doing a job right. Take your time with things and make sure you are happy with the result. Otherwise, you end up doing it again.

9: Master Yi, The Wuju Bladesman

A true Master is an eternal student.

A quote that isn't originated from League of Legends but like the Camille quote just goes to show that the characters are mature and have had experiences that lead them to thinking this way. Master Yi is saying that if you pay attention and listen to others, there's always something to learn – completely different from the Master Yi player base.

8: Viego, The Ruined King

No Price is too great. No atrocity beyond my reach. For her, I will do anything.

Viego is one of the most important characters in the lore of League, as he is the king of the shadow isles. In search of his dead wife, Isolde, he would do anything to get her back. He doesn't care that he is killing half of Runeterra and is willing to sacrifice it all for his twisted goal. He is a broken man with nothing but a purpose, and is willing to lose it all.

7: Swain, The Noxian Grand General

Tell me again all the crimes I've comitted, and I'll tell you the price of victory.

Swain is the Grand General and therefore leader of the military nation Noxus. He led the war into Ionia and saw visions of wars to come in the corpses of his victims. His purpose is to make Noxus a strong nation and to destroy the enemies. Jericho Swain wields a demonic power that allows him to listen to the secrets of the dying, however the biggest secret is the enemy already lies within. The quote shows how ruthless he is in his plans to expand Noxus onto the land. He will have victory at all cost.

6: Riven, The Exiled

What is broken can be reforged

Riven's story is as tragic as it is inspiring. As a young soldier, she rose up in the army of Noxus only to realize at the front of war that it is all wrong. She cut ties to the Noxian empire, trying to atone for her sins. Now on a path to find where she stands in this shattered world, her past lays behind her.

5: Yorick, Shepherd of Souls

Yorick, look what you have become." "I've become what I must be.

Yorick is the last of his kind. He is blessed and cursed with power over the dead. Trapped in the shadow isles, his only purpose is to free his home from the black mist of the ruination. Even though he is alone, he has risen to the task that no one could do. Knowing it will be the only thing he can ever do but will never accomplish.

4: Kai'Sa, Daughter of the Void

This world is changing. We decide into what.

As a child, Kai'Sa was claimed by the void and only survived because of her sheer tenacity and strength. The void, as a single large hivemind, is ever-changing and even after coming back into the real world and being called a monster, she is being hopeful and optimistic about the path of the world.

3: Pantheon, Aspect of War

They do not fear me because I am a god. They fear me because I am a man!

Pantheon as the aspect of war is an intense warrior. He knows defeat and embraces it, as it is the only way to improve oneself. His strength lies in his humility and the ability to adapt and overcome anything. Pantheon's indomitable human spirit is unbreaking, he will face any challenge and fight until he is victorious.

2: Aatrox, The Darkin Blade

I touched the stars, and saw the glorious light of a thousand suns! Now, blinded by this elegance, how could my purpose be anything...but dark.

This Aatrox quote is very edgy but fits him perfectly. Unlike most others in this list, there is no greater moral or wisdom behind this. It's just dark and edgy but very epic, and I love it.

1: Rammus

Ok.

“Ok,” a sublime gem in our linguistic treasury, epitomizes simplicity's universal charm. In its modest brevity, it effortlessly bridges communication gaps, a testament to its unrivaled versatility. This unassuming word, with remarkable ease, fosters agreement, rendering it a peerless beacon of understanding.
