The 2022 League of Legends World Championship was six months ago, with DRX taking the crown in an exciting 5-game series against the heavy favorites, T1. Fans have been patiently waiting for the release of the World Championship skins, and it seems like the wait is finally over.

In a recent stream, Hanwha Life top laner and former DRX player, Hwang "Kingen" Seong-hoon revealed an estimate for the release of the DRX skins.

League of Legends DRX World Championship Skins Release Soon

In a recent stream, former DRX top laner and League of Legends World Championship finals MVP, Kingen, gave fans some insight into when the upcoming DRX skins will be released. World Championship skins are always some of the best in the game, since the players personalities get to shine through in the skins.

With some pretty popular champions having been picked by the players for skins, like BeryL picking Ashe and Pyosik choosing Kindred, there are going to be some pretty cool skins releasing soon. Kingen also chose his top champion from the tournament Aatrox for a World Championship skin.

When he was asked about the release of the skins, Kingen simply said that the skins should come within a month and release early June. This would coincide with previous releases of World Championship skins, which usually get released half a year to seven months after the World Championship concluded.

While fans await the 2022 League of Legends World Championship skins, they can also enjoy some more international League of Legends. DRX and Hanwha Life did not make it to MSI 2023, but T1 and Gen.G represent the LCK at the tournament in a brand-new format. MSI 2023 will kick off the Bracket Stage on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.
