If you weren't excited enough for Worlds 2022 already, the upcoming free in-game rewards and drops might help you along the way. We are here to give you all the information currently available about the future rewards you can receive during the League of Legends World Championship.

World 2022 will take place in America, starting in Mexico, and the final match will be in San Francisco, California. But if you aren't planning to watch the big event on-site, you can still watch it online and even receive some nice rewards while doing so.

What Are the Watch Rewards and Drops?

If you have been watching Worlds in past years, you might already know about the free stuff Riot Games gives out to hype up the major event, and we expect Worlds 2022 to be no exception.

Just by watching Worlds, you can receive rewards like Emotes, Champion capsules, and even Hextech chests. We expect the first awards to be available during Worlds 2022 Play-Ins, which will begin on September 29.

How to Watch Worlds 2022

In order to gain the free watch prices, the most important thing to know is where even to watch the stream. To earn prices, you have to be watching through the lolesports website

You must also be logged into your Riot account. Here is the link for the official lolesports website.

How to Get Watch Rewards for Worlds 2022

At the current point in time, Riot Games have not come out with any official information regarding the Worlds 2022 rewards, and all we can do for now is wait and see.

Last year, it was important to make sure you were logged into the lolesports website while watching. This way, they could make sure you were actually watching the games, and the rewards would be added to the account you were watching with.

Here is how you could earn last year's Watch Rewards:

  • 1 Game Watched: 500 Blue Essence
  • 10 more Games Watched: Esports Capsule
  • 25 more Games Watched: Esports Capsule + Worlds Rewards Capsule
  • Worlds Finals: Esports Capsule + Worlds Rewards Capsule

We still don't know if we will get the exact same rewards as last year, but we expect them to be quite similar for this year as well.

How to Get Stream Drops For Worlds 2022

Like the Watch Rewards, you have to be logged into and watch the broadcast on the lolesports website. In the past years, the Stream Drops have been random, but there have been different situations where you are more likely or even guaranteed to have a stream drop:

  • Pentakill: Drop is guaranteed to occur
  • Stolen objective: A drop might occur but isn’t guaranteed
  • Multi-kill: A drop might occur but isn’t guaranteed

How to Get Other Worlds 2022 Rewards

Watch Rewards and Stream Drops are known to be a big part of Worlds, and we expect nothing less from Worlds 2022. However, Riot Games has also given out other free prices in the past.

This year you will have the opportunity to receive rewards for making our predictions in Worlds Pick'EmsPick'Ems is already up and going for this year's Worlds, and you can gain rewards by making different predictions. Here are some of the questions for this year:

  • Who will be Picked the most during Champion Select at Worlds?
  • Who will get at least one Pentakill at Worlds?
  • Which team will place 1st in Play-In Group A?
  • ...

If you want to make your prediction, it would be smart to do it as soon as possible, as all predictions will be locked on the first day of play-ins, September 29.
