LoL: Four Reasons To Main Kindred
Kindred is one of the most interesting junglers in LoL, but what makes them so cool and why should you become a Kindred main? Well, that's what we'll explore today.
Some League of Legends champions are just perfect for solo queue, while others not so much. Kindred, is one of the most appealing and unique champions in the jungle, with a playstyle unlike any other. So if you want to stand out and above the rest, then make sure to become a Kindred main.
Why should you pick them, though? Well, let's go over a few reasons why Kindred is so appealing, especially if you're playing solo queue.
LoL: Why You Should Play Kindred
4. Kindred Has A Great Jungle Clear
Kindred has great damage, even early, and therefore has one of the best jungle clears in the game. Of course, the longer a game goes, the better they become and therefore can quickly clear jungle camps with the snap of a finger once they've got a few items. This means that you can gain a small advantage and snowball this into an unstoppable force.
Of course, you probably won't be able to compete with power junglers like Karthus, but you don't have to. You've got a lot more mobility than opposing junglers which just helps you with your clear in the end, making you one of the quickest champions on the rift.
3. Kindred's Insane Sustain
Thanks to Kindred's W – Wolf's Frenzy, they can clear the jungle almost unscathed. The innate sustain within the ability is crazy good, which means you can clear the jungle, gain movement and then hop into lane for a quick gank, all while basically being full health the entire time. Is that even fair for other junglers?
The W also slows large monsters, meaning you have even less to be afraid of being in the jungle when playing Kindred. This means that even if the red or blue buff want to retaliate, they won't deal damage, because Kindred is too light on their feet and can just jump to safety.
2. Kindred Has The Best Lore
Now, this is not a gameplay plus, but one you have to take into account. Kindred is one of the most interesting champions, not only on the rift, but also lore-wise. Kindred is the personification of death, with Lamb's bow representing a swift death, while Wolf hunts down those who run from their fate, tearing those who refuse death apart.
It's pretty gruesome, but so interesting. In the 2024 Season trailer, we also got to witness their insane power, which just cements that Kindred is one of the strongest beings in all of Runeterra. Who wouldn't want to main a champion like that, right? Much better than a cat sitting on a book, right?
1. High Skill Cap
Kindred is probably one of the champions with the highest skill cap in all of League of Legends. It makes them fun to play, since every single time you lock in Kindred, it feels like there is more to learn and master with this champion. This continuous growth curve is extremely rewarding for any League of Legends player and makes coming back to the game day in and day out fun.
Kindred is difficult to truly master, which only adds to the champion's complexity. Kindred is a high risk, high reward champion, so make sure to lock her in so you can dominate the opposing team. Seriously, there are few champions with better ganks than Kindred. So, what are you waiting for? Go play some Kindred and become a Kindred main!
