LoL: Mid Lane Tier List For Patch 14.8

Season 14 is well on its way with Patch 14.8. Let's see how the Item Changes have affected the mid lane meta.
Mid Lane Tier List: S-Tier Mid Lane Picks Of LoL Patch 14.8
3. Veigar
Veigar is in our Top 3 and sitting at a win rate of 52.49%.
Build:
Ludens Companion into Stormsurge. Follow this up by Rabbadons or Zhonyas.
Power Spikes:
Veigar can infinity stack so after a few of those you just oneshot the enemies with basic combos.
Counters:
Veigar gets countered by long range or Assassins with lots of dashes like Katarina.
Good Synergies:
He works great with an engage team comp as he can stun the entire enemy team very fast.
2. Aurelion Sol
Aurelion Sol is back in meta. His simplicity and wavecontrol brings stability in the chaos that is summoners rift. He currently has a 50.67% winrate.
Build:
You want to start off with a Rylais Crystal Scepter into Liandries. Make sure you pick up a Tear in between as you want to build Seraphs next.
Power Spikes:
Rylais makes you really strong and tanky.
Counters:
Asol doesn't do well into Champions that easily reach him like Irelia and Fizz.
Good Synergies:
Asol works really well with junglers that can follow up on his ult.
1. Ahri
Ahri is our top tier and is sitting at a win rate of 52.49%.
Build:
On Ahri you want to rush Malignance into Lich Bane.
Power Spikes:
Malignance is a great spike for your damage if you engage with ult. It can proc every time you ult to have massive value.
Counters:
Ahri is weak against Taliyah and champions that out-range her.
Good Synergies:
She works great with champions that can CC the enemy team, allowing her to hit her combo.
Mid Lane Tier List in LoL Patch 14.8: The Other Mid Lane Champions
While the S-Tier mid laners tend to be the best, there are still a lot of perfect picks in case these champions aren't available. Let's also take a look at some of the bottom-tier champions, which you should take note of and avoid!
The A-Tier Mid Picks of LoL Patch 14.8:
If you're not a fan of the S-tier picks, or they are banned, this is where to look. The A-tier champs are good but don't warrant nerfs, so they are usually about the same.
Champion | Win Rate | Pick Rate |
Ahri | 49.24% | 12.3% |
Twisted Fate | 53.04% | 3.4% |
Vladimir | 51.17% | 2.8% |
Malphite | 52.37% | 2.5% |
Galio | 53.54% | 2.6% |
Vex | 51.73% | 3.1% |
Annie | 52.71% | 2.2% |
Xerath | 51.56% | 2.1% |
Mages are back and stronger than ever. The new items have done wonders for some of them.
The F-Tier Picks of LoL Patch 14.8:
If you want to win, just stay away from these champions, basically no point in playing them unless you're a one-trick.
Champion | Win Rate | Pick Rate |
Lissandra | 47.69% | 2.3% |
Ekko | 48.08% | 3.0% |
Talon | 45.13% | 1.6% |
LeBlanc | 48.26% | 3.9% |
Anivia | 46.15% | 1.9% |
Akshan | 46.56% | 1.7% |
Hwei | 48.63% | 6.8% |
Yasuo | 48.96% | 10.5% |
Corki | 40.66% | 1.6% |
Zed | 48.73% | 7.5% |
Azir | 45.23% | 3.7% |
Akali | 47.77% | 47.77% |
AD LeBlanc is not even a real thing anymore, but people still buy Stattiks on her.
Zed is suffering a lot from the removal of the previous Ravenous Hydra. AD assassins are buying Profane Hydra, but that item is a real bait.
There are quite a few champions down here which is not necessarily because they are bad but the S-Tier picks are just so oppressive that there really isn't a reason to not pick them.
