It feels like we've been waiting for these Eclipse skins since 2021 already. These skins were leaked a while back and we even found out about the previously overpriced Prestige skin which is included in this set of brand-new skins.

Well, now we have confirmation that all  the leaks that have been dripping information left and right were all true. So let's check out the upcoming Eclipse skins, which champions will get them and if we're even going to have an Eclipse event!

Which Champions Will Receive Eclipse Skins?

Five champions will have dedicated Eclipse skins, while Senna is also going to be getting a new prestige 2.0 skin. This means she is getting not just one, but two splash arts as well as a high-fashion prestige skin — the first of its kind (though if we're honest Senna already has a Louis Vuitton skin as well).

  • Solar Eclipse Sivir
  • Solar Eclipse Sejuani
  • Solar Eclipse Kayle
  • Lunar Eclipse Aatrox
  • Lunar Eclipse Senna
  • Lunar Eclipse Senna Prestige Edition

Senna is getting her second prestige skin, while other champions like Fiddlesticks have been skin-less for what feels like centuries. Star Guardian Fiddle coming soon?

Previous Eclipse Skins in League of Legends

So far only one champion has another Eclipse skin

  • Lunar Eclipse Leona
  • Solar Eclipse Leona

But, these skins tie into the Coven universe, so we expect some interesting interactions between champions like Kayle and Morgana who are sisters in canon.

Are We Getting An Eclipse Event?

Skin Spotlights has leaked that there will be a small event that is going to take place for one month for this skin line. This means that from April 28 until May 28, an Eclipse event is going to take place.

Right now, we have the Anima Squad event ongoing in the League of Legends client and this skin is supposed to end May 2, 2022. So let's see how it works with two events overlapping.

How Much Will the Eclipse Skins Cost?

Sivir is going to receive her first Legendary skin with her Solar Eclipse skin. This means her skin is going to cost 1820 RP, while the rest of the bunch is going to be sold for 1350 RP like any other regular Epic Skin.

Many fans had wished for Kayle to receive a Legendary skin, but she's already got Aether Wings Kayle and leaks had shown that the Legendary skin would be given to a champion that had never received one before. Sivir fits the colour scheme perfectly though and really works well with the universe.

When Will the Eclipse Skins Release?

These skins are going to be released in League of Legends Patch 12.8, which drops on April 27, 2022. So if you don't see what you like in the Arcana skins from Patch 12.7, then just wait for these skins. They look incredible.
