New LoL Skins - Steel Valkyries | Champions, Event, Price & More

Another patch, more new skins. That is the never ending cycle of League of Legends, right? We just managed to get through the bugged Star Guardian event – with bugs still ongoing, but now we have to look forward to new Steel Valkyries skins. But who is going to get these new skins? 

Riot has revealed just how incredible the new Udyr is going to look, but they've also shown some brand-new skins in the Dreadnova vs. Steel Valkyries skin line. So, who joins this alternate universe? 

New LoL Steel Valkyries Skins: Champions

Earlier this year Riot released Renata Glasc with her Admiral Glasc skin. Admiral Glasc was already part of the Steel Valkyries universe, so now we're getting even more skins to join her in 2022. 

These are all the new Steel Valkyries skins: 

• Nasus
• Lucian
• Camille
• Janna
• Janna Prestige Edition

These aren't the first skins of the skin line. As already mentioned other champions are also part of this skin universe already. 

Dreadnova Skins

• Dreadnova Darius
• Dreadnova Gangplank

Royal Space Military

• Aether Wing Kayle
• Admiral Glasc

Vigilantes

• Bullet Angel Kai'Sa
• Gun Goddess Miss Fortune
• Blade Mistress Morgana

Which group the new skins belong to has yet to be seen since we don't have any information on skin bios yet, but we sure hope that Janna will be part of the Royal Space Military... an evil Janna would just be insane. 

Will We Have A Steel Valkyries Event? 

Riot hasn't released any official information pertaining to an event for the Steel Valkyries skins. These skins will officially release right when the Star Guardian event finishes, so they could add in a new event with a pass. 

Though the Star Guardian pass didn't work and was very bugged so many players might think twice before buying another event pass for League of Legends this time around. We will have to wait and see whether Riot releases and event for these new skins. 

What is the Price for the New Steel Valkyries Skins?

Janna is going to have a Prestige variant in this skin line, while the rest of the skins look to be simple Epic skins instead. So expect to pay 1350 RP for these skins. Rumors had been going around that one of the skins would be a legendary, but Riot hasn't revealed anything yet. 

What is the Release Date for the New Steel Valkyries Skins? 

These skins will be released on August 24, 2022 in LoL Patch 12.16. Do keep in mind that new skins usually release a day after the patch drops, so check back then, but they will make it to Patch 12.16. 

These skins will release alongside the brand-new Udyr rework which fans have been waiting for since January of 2021. Who else is excited for all this new content in the next few weeks?
