Some League of Legends champions are just pure hell to play against and everyone in the community knows it. Now it seems that Riot is trying to make one annoying pick even more egregious to play against in LoL Patch 13.14.

In the upcoming League of Legends patch, we are going to be getting some adjustments to champions that were already supposed to go live in the previous update with Patch 13.13, but Riot pushed them back three weeks. But now the changes are back on the PBE and ready to be shipped.

LoL Patch 13.14: Huge Update To Xerath Coming Soon

Xerath is one of the most annoying champions in League of Legends. He's slow as hell, his ability can easily be side stepped and yet he is still one of the champions players don't want to face.

In recent years the champion has been playable in both the mid lane and as a support, making himself especially popular in the bot lane thanks to his crowd control and zoning potential with his ultimate.

In LoL Patch 13.14, Riot is going to be looking to update the champion a bit and freshen him up. He's currently got a 52% win rate with a pick rate of 5% as a support and the changes Riot has planned should make him a much better late game champion as well.

Patch 13.14 Xerath Changes To Improve Late Game

The biggest adjustment Riot has planned for Xerath has got to be to his ultimate. Currently, he's capped at 3 to 5 missiles that deal insane damage. This is going to change in the upcoming patch, with it being changed to 3-7charges. What is the price Xerath mains have to pay? Some weaker base damage and a lower AP ratio.

The part that is going to be fun though is the stacking. According to the PBE, Xerath will increase the damage per champion hit. This means that if you're good with landing your missiles you're going to be dealing a lot of damage.

With Xerath gaining extra missiles in the later stages of the game, this is going to be pretty fun to play and could be annoying to play against. These changes, along with some mana changes to his base mana, as well as passive cooldown adjustments could make Xerath even more of a nuissance to play against in Patch 13.14.
