DRX World Championship Skins - Everything You Need To Know
The 2022 League of Legends World Champions were none other than the underdogs, DRX. Finally, we get to see the skins that Riot has prepared for them. These skins will be hitting the rift soon, but which champions did the player choose?
After every League of Legends World Championship, the members of the winning team get to pick a champion which will receive a skin in the team's theme. This year, we're getting seven new champion skins.
DRX World Championship Skins: LoL Champions and Cost
Six champions will be getting skins. With DRX also letting their substitute player, Lee "Juhan" Ju-han, play a couple of games at the tournament, he was also able to choose a champion to receive a skin.
- Imagine a figurine for the World Championship skins... would be nice. But it doesn't exist yet so I'll just get this Lux figurine for my desk instead.
Not only that, but Riot have also introduced a prestige version of one skin from the World Championship. The first ever prestige World Championship skin will be going to the champion that Kingen chose, since he was named the 2022 World Championship Finals MVP.
Riot will continue making prestige World Championship skins for the MVP players going forward.

DRX have also added in cute little alpaca references into their skins as a reference to veteran bot laner Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu. Pretty cute, eh?
DRX Ward Skins On PBE
Not only was Deft and his alpaca shown in several of the skins, but Riot have also revealed the unique World Championship skin which is the alpaca holding up the new Summoner's Cup which was revealed last year.
Since 2014, Riot have also added World Championship skins every once in a while, with the SKT T1 skin and the SKT T1 kkoma skin. Now, Deft and his alpaca will also receive a special skin in 2023.
Release Date for DRX World Championship Skins in LoL
These skins are going to be released in LoL Patch 13.11. The patch will hit live servers on June 1, 2023 but skins are usually added into the client a day after the patch, so you can buy them on June 2, 2023.
These skins will be released alongside a Rell Mid-Scope update, as well as the delayed Ivern Mid-Scope so get ready for a pretty interesting patch... if we survive the item changes from LoL Patch 13.10 that is.
