Riot is making some changes to Naafiri ahead of her release
LoL Naafiri: Some Kit Adjustments On PBE
Naafiri is going to be released very soon. She is a new mid lane assassin and Riot is looking to make a few more changes ahead of her release after hearing player feedback.
So, what has Riot decided to update on Naafiri, and what buffs or nerfs will her kit receive before she goes live in LoL Patch 13.14? Let's check out the initial adjustments Riot has planned for the champion to give future Naafiri players the best experience possible even upon release.
LoL Naafiri Base Stat and Passive Adjustments
Some of the tooltips for her Q, W and R have been adjusted, since some of the community did not think they were very clear. Therefore, Riot is making some key adjustments to them after receiving some feedback on Reddit from the player base.
- Pick up the new ABYstyle League of Legends mug so you can drink some tea while enjoying another tilting game.
Not only are her tooltips getting some adjustments on the PBE right now, but Riot is also going to do something about her slow basic attacks which some players feel are pretty slow in comparison to other assassins. So, Riot is going to be speeding up the windup just a bit to align her with other champions in her class as well.
- Attack Windup: 0.33s >>> 0.198s
Not only will her base stats be adjusted though, but her passive as well. Naafiri has become a pretty popular jungler as well, with an insane clear, coming out of a first clear with almost full health, which is why some adjustments are in order.
According to Riot Raptorr on Twitter, the team is going to adjust her hounds.
- Packmates no longer take reduced damage from Epic Monsters (but they still take 50% from other monsters/minions)

While these changes might not have too much of an effect on her early game, she will still be a bit weaker in the jungle. There will likely be many more adjustments before Naafiri goes live in LoL Patch 13.14.
There are also some adjustments and bug fixes Riot is working on in regard to the new game mode Arena. She will now properly soawn with full packmates at the start of rounds, something that had been bugged until now.
Naafiri will be released on July 20, 2023, a day after LoL Patch 13.14 goes live. You'll be able to play her on Summoner's Rift, ARAM and the new Arena game mdoe once she is released.
