Vayne is getting an update!
Vayne Will Receive a VFX Update
Riot Games has done quite a few smaller visual updates for certain champions throughout the last few years. Syndra was on the receiving end of an update not too long ago, as well as Jinx and Jayce, but now it's time for us to check out Vayne and her future update.
What will Riot change and how extensive will this visual update be? When will it be released? That's what we're going to check out today.
Vayne VFX: Which Skins Are Getting Updated?
A few skins will be updated along with Vayne's base skin. She was released in May 2011 and hasn't had many visual updates since then, which is why this is a very welcome change for anyone who likes to play the bot laner.
These are the skins that will receive updates in the VFX:
- Base Vayne
- SKT T1 Vayne
- Arclight Vayne
- Heartseeker Vayne
- Dragonslayer Vayne
If you own any of these skins you'll be sure to get an upgraded new look for Vayne!
What Visuals Will Be Updated for Vayne?
In a Reddit post Riot Sirhaian explained that this visual update will be less extensive than other ones before. Why? Because Vayne isn't as flashy a champion as previous VFX updates. Therefore Riot will be working on cleaning up some old noise and modernizing her kit.
These are the changes Riot is working on for Vayne:
- E arrow is bigger and more colorful
- Grey hue around Vayne when she uses her ultimate
- Auto-attacks are more refined
These are the changes we can see that Riot is working on for Vayne in the coming weeks. If you want to see it for yourself, check out the video right here.
When Will the Vayne VFX Go Live?
In the same Reddit post, it was stated that they're going to ship the VFX into the PBE Server for 12.02. This could mean that we get the update as soon as LoL Patch 12.02, but we do think it's more realistic for this update to come out in LoL Patch 12.03.
