LoL: What Items Should You Build?

Nocturne usually starts out with the Scorchclaw Pup (aka Red Jungle Item). The first item you want to build is the Experimental Hexplate. This item has been the new Stridebreaker for him as he doesnt need to activate anything. Stridebreaker is still a fine choice if you personally dont like the Hexplate. The item gives him some much-needed sticking power after his ultimate.

Boots depend a lot on what you are playing against. Typically, Plated Steelcaps are your go-to since you want to jump on the ADC, but Mercury Treads can be fine as well.

The next item is Eclipse. This will give you great power for your already strong 1v1 skills and allow you to shred tanks easier. The fourth item will be something defensive, as you will need to jump into the entire enemy team if necessary. Build Sterak's Gage or Dance of Death if you need armor, Maw of Malmortius if the enemies have a lot of AP.

Your fifth item will be one of the previous choices, but you can also opt for an early Guardian Angel. This allows you to be a little more reckless with your engages and the payoff will be larger. If you dont get bursted in the game you can also buy Frozen Heart to be a team fighting menace.

Your full build should look like this:

  • Experimental Hexplate
  • Plated Steelcaps
  • Eclipse
  • Sterak's Gage
  • Death's Dance/Maw of Malmortius
  • Guardian Angel
