Champion Guide: What are Samira’s Abilities?

Let’s quickly go over Samira’s abilities, since she is a complex champion on the higher end of the difficulty spectrum. Her kit is designed for those of you who enjoy dashing around and using combo attacks. But let’s begin with the basics.

First her passive: It lets Samira build combos by using attacks and abilities unique from the previous one. One thing to note is that Samira can hit both in melee range as well as from further away. When in melee range she deals additional magic damage and Samira's attacks against enemies affected by Immobilizing effects will dash her to her attack range.

• Q – Flair: Samira fires a shot at enemies. If she is in melee range she will unsheath her sword instead, slashing the opposing champion.
• W – Blade Whirl: Samira slashes around her, damaging enemies and destroying any projectiles coming her way.
• E – Wild Rush: Samira dashes through enemies – or structures – slashing them and dealing damage. This ability can be simulcast with her Q, which will deal extra damage as well.
• R – Inferno Trigger: Samira unleashes a torrent of shots from her weapons, wildly shooting all enemies surrounding her. The higher her previous combo was, the more power her ultimate will have.

Champion Guide: How does Samira Engage in a Fight?

Of course, our Samira champion guide won't just let you know what her abilities are. No, you also need to know how to use them in battle and one of the key points is obviously her engage. It is important to have everything off cooldown at first. Why? Well, so you can start stacking her passive combo points.

You gain combo points by mixing in auto-attacks between her abilities. Never use the same attack twice! Otherwise, you won’t gain any combo stacks. So warm up those fingers, and get clicking. But which order should you use your abilities to stack up her passive?

Don’t worry we’ve got you covered. Start off with her Q, then add in an auto-attack. Another Q to follow up for some damage before pressing W, E and W again. That should fill up your combo passive nicely. Only one step remains. R. So basically: Q>Auto>Q>W>E>W>R

Once you’ve fully stacked the combo it’s easy sailing from there, just use her ultimate and shred through anyone who stands in her way. You’ve probably seen multiple montages of easy pentakills, and this combo is how you manage to get those.

Champion Guide: Which Items Should Samira Build?

Samira’s Q and ultimate scale with crit, so you probably know which item we’re going to tell you to build. The best mythic for Samira is definitely Immortal Shieldbow. The added attack damage, as well as critical strike chance, are a must when playing Samira.

Add in The Collector and Infinity Edge and you’re good to go. She cannot fail in any teamfight. Just make sure to hit your combos and stack up your ultimate. She will hit every crit in the late game and dominate any game.
