Finally, the first split of the 2022 Spring Season for Champion’s Queue is over and Jojopyun, Mid Laner for Evil Geniuses, has finished in 1st. As a result, Jojopyun will take the $12,000 prize - with opportunities to earn even more in future splits.

Is Champions Queue doing it's job to reinvigorate a region known for players with poor motivation? Only time will tell!

Jojopyun Dominates Champions Queue Ladder

Ever since Champions Queue opened up, EG's up and coming mid lane superstar has been one of the scariest players to go up against. Jojopyun grinded out over 200 games this split with a 63% win rate, which just displays how truly dominant this player is. At the end of the split, his LP was all the way at 885 - almost 100 more LP over the runner-up!

Jojopyun was definitely one of the most dominant players throughout the inaugural split of champions queue. He's joined in the top 10 by some other notable names in the NA amateur/pro scene - who all were able to take cash prizes as a reward for their grind.

  • Joseph “Jojopyun” Joon Pyun (Evil Geniuses, mid) – 885 LP – $12,000
  • Kim “Olleh” Joo-sung (Golden Guardians, support) – 800 LP – $8,000
  • Muhammed Hasan “Kaori” Şentürk (Evil Geniuses Academy, mid) – 780 LP – $4,000
  • Jett “Srtty” Joye (Evil Geniuses Academy, top) – 740 LP – $4,000
  • Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen (Cloud9 Academy, AD carry) – 725 LP – $4,000
  • Alexey “rjs” Zatorski (Bogged, mid) – 650 LP – $1,600
  • Choi “Mia” Sang-in (Estral Esports, support) – 635 LP – $1,600
  • Jonathan “Armao” Armao (Team Liquid Academy, jungler) – 630 LP – $1,600
  • Colin “Kumo” Zhao (FlyQuest, top) – 625 LP – $1,600
  • Niship “Dhokla” Doshi (CLG Academy, top) – 605 LP – $1,600
