LoL Patch 11.21 Highlights

We all knew this was coming, Season 11 is ending soon. Riot have already shipped out the Worlds patches and now they're focused on tweaking things to prepare for LoL Preseason 2022. In the meantime, let's enjoy the last few patches and gain some elo! Have you finished climbing yet?

System Changes in LoL Patch 11.21

System Buffs - Ingenious Hunter & Health Rune Stat Shard

• Ingenious Hunter - Base item Haste: 10 to 20, Item Haste per Stack: 5 to 6
• Health Rune Stat Shard - Health: 15-90 to 15-140

Ingenious Hunter might actually be useful now? Riot seem determined to make it as useful as it's counterparts in the Domination Skill Tree. They may have actually succeeded in Patch 11.21! This rune might be OP, mages with enough ability haste will be able to proc the effect on items like Ludens Tempest and Liandry's Anguish twice! Don't be surprised if you see this rune pop up more often in builds, this will likely get nerfed soon!

Health Rune Stat Shard could be taken in more situations now. Not many champions will prioritize this over Armor or Magic Resistance because those two are far more important in general. It's extremely easy to gain health without going out of your itemization for most champions nowadays, so Riot might have to buff this stat shard more if they want players to see it as a viable option.

System Nerfs - Guardian, Conqueror, Goredrinker, and Ravenous Hunter

• Guardian - Shield: 70-150 to 50-130
• Conqueror - Adaptive per stack: 2-5 to 2-4, Buff duration: 6s to 4s
• Goredrinker - Active damage: 100% Total AD to 175% Base AD, HP/5: 150% to 0, [NEW] 8% Omnivamp, [REMOVED] Spite Passive
• Ravenous Hunter - Omnivamp per stack: 1.5% to 1.2%

Plenty of changes to discuss here, let's start with Guardian! This rune has shot up in popularity because of enchanters like Soraka and Nami finding their way in the meta. As it turns out, this rune might be a little too good - so Riot are scaling back it's benefits by a fair amount. This is a significant change, so support mains should tell their ADC's to play a little safer in Patch 11.21!

Moving on, the Conqueror changes might not be enough to dissuade 70% of the champion roster taking it as their rune of choice. However, this nerf might punish Bruisers along with the nerfs to Goredrinker and Ravenous Hunter. These champions tend to abuse Conqueror and add on as much healing as they can, this will be a little harder to do in Patch 11.21.

System Adjustments - Stridebreaker

• Stridebreaker: Active damage: 100% Total AD to 175% Base AD, AD: 45 to 50

Stridebreaker has been overlooked in favor of Goredrinker in the second half of Season 11. It used to give champions a dash to get on top of their foes, but has since been nerfed.

Riot have decided this item needs additional tuning, which could turn out like it did last time and make it completely OP on certain champs... (Looking at you Nocturne)

Huge Teemo Buffs in Patch 11.21

• Q: Cooldown: 8 to 7s
  
• Blind Duration: 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5s to 2/2.25/2.5/2.75/3s
  
• Missile Speed: 1500 to 2500

If you were enjoying the lack of this little devil in your games, too bad! Riot have shipped out a few changes to turn that around. In LoL Patch 11.21, Teemo is the recipient of some huge buffs!

These changes shouldn't effect his bad matchups too much, but make him a more appealing champ overall when he's supposed to be strong. If it's been a while since you locked in this particular yordle, maybe considering giving him a shot in Patch 11.21!
