Content Creator and former League of Legends World Champion Lau "Toyz" Wai Kin has pled guilty to drug trafficking charges, according to Taiwan's Central News Agency.

The 30-year-old has been living on-and-off in Taiwan and on June 16, 2022 he went to the Taichung District Prosecutor's Office where he pled guilty. He was charged with selling marijuana pods.

Lau "Toyz" Wai Kin, is most well-known for playing for the Taipei Assassin's in 2012 and surprising the world when they upset Azubu Frost 3-1 in the World Championship Finals. He was the team's mid laner, known for picking champions like Orianna and Anivia.

Years later, he now faces drug trafficking charges which he pled guilty to in the Taichung District Office. He stated that he regrets his exposure to drugs and that he urges the public to steer clear of any form of drugs.

Toyz was arrested last year on suspicion of drug trafficking, most notably marijuana. In 2019 he was accused of selling products containing THC and was then caught by officers claiming to be buyers. Seven others were also arrested.

Drug laws in Taiwan are much stricter than in many western countries, with charges of trafficking landing someone in jail for life. Toyz lawyer has asked the court to consider Toyz unfamiliarity with Taiwanese laws though when deciding upon a sentence for the 30-year-old.

A full sentence is not yet known for the former League of Legends pro, but he has pleaded guilty and could get a reduced sentence. He's also shown remorse which could be in his favour when deciding upon a sentence for the youbng man.
