LoL Patch 13.23: Vel'Koz Getting Much-Needed Buffs

Patch Notes 14-11-2023 20:25

Vel'Koz is finally on the buff list for Riot, but many players are worried it'll only be a simple buff to one ability.

Vel'Koz has not felt strong or satisfying to play in a long time. He's underwhelming in both as a support and a mid laner, but in Patch 13.23 that might change, since the champion is finally added to the buff list!

Some players are worried for the champion though and that Riot will only give him a simple AP ratio increase or something along those lines. We're going to have to wait for the full Patch preview to know more details though.

LoL Patch 13.23: Vel'Koz Deserves Buffs

Vel'Koz will be getting buffed in LoL Patch 13.23. What exactly will be revealed soon, but until then the League of Legends community is worried that Riot will simply just give his Q an AP ratio increase, which isn't the buff he deserves.

His Q is his strongest and most used ability, while his W is simply there for waveclear and his E feels lackluster and pointless to use. Therefore, the community is hoping that Riot will finally take a look at either his W or E and give those abilities some love.

Maybe increasing the speed of his E, so it's harder to dodge in lane could be an idea. Not to mention, getting rid of the movement lockout for his E would be ideal, since the enemy stun is almost as long as the movement lockout Vel'Koz has to deal with, thus ruining the whole ability.

W should also see some buffs since it's also feeling underwhelming to use, especially on other champions. His ultimate and Q on the other hand should stay untouched since they're decent in the current state.

When the full patch notes are released, we will know more about Vel'Koz and his future, but one thing is for sure, it can't get worse than the state he's in currently.
