While LoL Patch 12.15 isn't as big as previous patches, there are some pretty intense changes heading our way in terms of buffs and nerfs. Qiyana? Nice try winning every single trade with her after this patch. But there are more changes than just the one to Qiyana, so let's go over the most important ones.

If you are looking for a complete breakdown of the current League of Legends Patch, then don't worry we've got your covered with the LoL Buffs and Nerfs article of Patch 12.15. Here, every single change is explained in detail.

Huge Qiyana Nerfs in Patch 12.15

Qiyana has been one of the most dominant mid laners throughout LoL Patch 12.14. She could shred through anyone and her roaming is also a key part of the meta. She's an insanely strong champion and thanks to a bug she was able to deal even more damage. All that has ended in Patch 12.15 though, since the bug is getting fixed and let's not talk about the damage reduction on her passive either.

While Qiyana enjoyed a solid 52% win rate throughout the last patch, this is going to drastically change in Patch 12.15 and we predict her to fall pretty hard out of the meta. There are better champions to pick than Qiyana.

Energy Champion Buffs

On the other hand we might be seeing some more Akali in the future. Before Patch 12.15 she was already in a decent spot, but with the added energy and energy restoration in this patch she might be a champion to keep your eye on, especially if you're a top laner or a mid laner.

Seriously, Akali was already a pretty strong champion and this will only improve her further. She isn't the only energy champion getting updated though, Zed, Shen, Lee Sin and Kennen have also received buffs.

  • Kennen
    • Electrical Surge (W) Cooldown: 14-6s --> 13-6s
    • Electrical Surge (W) Damage: 60-160 --> 70-170
    • Slicing Maelstrom (R) AP Ratio: 20% --> 22.5%
  • Akali
    • Twilight Shroud (W) Energy Refund/Increase: 80 --> 100
  • Lee Sin
    • Resonating Strike (Q) Energy Cost: 30 --> 25
    • Iron Will (W) Energy Cost: 30 --> 25
    • Cripple (E) Energy Cost: 30 --> 25
  • Shen
    • Shadow Dash (E) Energy Refund: 30-40 --> 30-50
  • Zed
    • Shadow Spell Mimic Range: 2000 --> No Limit
    • Shadow Slash (E) Enerrgy Cost: 50 --> 40

Skins Released in LoL Patch 12.15

Of course, we have to talk about the skins Riot released this patch as well. Sure, it wasn't a lot of skins, but our wallets need a patch to recover from all the money spent on the Star Guardian event and the skins... though the missions sure haven't worked well and seem to be bugging out more than anything.

  • Zap'Maw
  • Monster Tamer Lulu
  • Monster Tamer Veigar

Those are the three skins we're receiving in this patch and they're absolutely adorable. Wouldn't you want a cute little Yordle Monster Tamer on your team? Well, now that we've got that out of the way we know to prepare ourselves for the upcoming Udyr Rework Riot is currently working on. It looks intense so get ready!
