Riot recently released their LoL Champion Roadmap, showing off the next champions they're working on, as well as what champion updates are planned for League of Legends. In the live stream they also showed off new concept art for the revamped Gothic skins.

More champions are being added to the gothic universe and it's getting a brand-new name. Get ready for some spooky skins, because these actually kind of look sick and we can't wait for October to come sooner... and not just because of the LoL Worlds in North America.

Gothic Skins Renamed Fright Night

One of the big changes we noticed right away was the name change. These are going to be Halloween-themed skins with a unique gothic aesthetic to them. Seriously, we get gothic horror movie vibes from these new skin concept arts.

Seriously, were these skins inspired by movies? The Annie skin makes us think of Tim Burton's a Nightmare Before Christmas, while Draven just screams 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre'. Sure, Leatherface didn't throw chainsaws at his victims, but he might as well have, right?

Which Champions Were Revealed to get Fright Night Skins?

A total of five concept arts were revealed by Riot during their Riot Pls Champion Roadmap video. One of those champions was Annie, who we knew already had a Gothic skin, but four new champions were added into the mix. Now we're just wondering where Orianna and Amumu were, because their concepts weren't revealed.

  • Fright Night Draven
  • Fright Night Renata Glasc
  • Fright Night Urgot
  • Fright Night Trundle
  • Fright Night Annie

These skins look insane and we love the Suburbia Goth aesthetic they're giving off. Seriously takes us back to the early 2000s and MySpace, eh? Oh... wait I'm a boomer so you guys probably don't even know MySpace.

Fright Night Release Date

The release date for these skins has not been confirmed, but just looking at them you know that they're going to be the Halloween skins of 2022, right? The horror movie and goth aesthetic work perfectly for the season and we cannot wait to see the actual skins on the rift.

Though, we do hope that Orianna and Amumu also get their gothic reworks, because they both deserve some love as well from Riot, right? The Emumu skin must live on!
