Sometimes in League of Legends you've got to use the chat. There is no voice chat in the game, which means players have to utilize what they've got to communicate with their team and at times random emote spams and pings just aren't enough.

But there are some words and commands in chat that are part of Riot's list which could get an account suspended or at least have some form of punishment. Some of these are pretty outrageous and random, as a Redditor recently found out.

LoL Player Discovers Everyday Phrases Could Get You Suspended

In a Reddit thread that went viral a player showed a list, which was sent by Riot support, that included phrases and interactions which could get you suspended.

Some of the words that were part of the list are... odd to say the least. For example, asking to FF is an offense, as well as telling the team to report someone. Now how often do either of these situations happen? Way more than we can count, eh?

So, it's safe to say that Riot doesn't actually use these criteria when they look to suspend someone. The list that the Riot support gave the Reddit user is also pretty old and has not been looked at or updated since season 2.

Yes, we need to go all the way back to tribunal days for this list, isn't that crazy. Hell, some of you might not have even known what League of Legends was back in season 2.

But, can you actually get suspended for typing into chat 'FF'? No. The bot Riot implements will only look into a players' behavior if there is an actual report. If you didn't get reported, then the bot also won't scrape your game history or behavior history.

But maybe Riot should just update their system and take these types of phrases out. Just to avoid tjhe confusion.
