LoL Niche Fact: Unique Champions That Can Evade Turret Aggro

There are a lot of niche facts about League of Legends, whether they are connected to the lore of the game, the way it was designed, or the bugs that never went away, but went forgotten due to bans.

One such example shows once again that, in some aspects, champions are not balanced, which can be taken advantage of, if you know how. Here are the 11 champions that have the best in-game hitboxes by far!

Champions That Can Evade Turret Shots

In a game between KOI and BDS, KOI's top laner, who was playing Kennen at the time, was caught between a rock and a hard place. He was down on HP and was being penned in between the enemy support, mid-laner, and the inner and outer turrets.

It was at this time that he showed the world something not commonly known among League of Legends players, even those that have been here from the start. Champions with small enough sizes can sneak past the inner and outer turrets.

It was an impressive show of skill, especially due to the high stakes of being watched by so many fans. So which champions can do this, exactly?

Smallest In-Game Champion Models in LoL

The top two spots for the biggest in-game champion model in League of Legends are taken up by Cho'Gath, as is expected, based on his feast stacks and having the Elixir of Iron. The title of the smallest League of Legends in-game champion models, on the other hand, are shared by 11 champions:

  • Veigar
  • Annie
  • Fizz
  • Heimerdinger
  • Amumu
  • Kennen
  • Poppy
  • Teemo
  • Tristana
  • Ziggs
  • Warwick

You will find, as expected, that the champions in question are Yordles, with one exception. Warwick, the brutal werewolf of Zaun, created by the mad scientist Singed, whose bloodlust knows no bounds, is for some reason the size of Veigar, a champion with a Napoleon complex.

In addition, randomly, one Yordle is missing from this roster. Lulu is bigger than the other Yordles, even without her ultimate being taken into account. If this is explained by the vast magical energies she gets from her fae companion, that is unknown.

How to Avoid Turret Aggro

Even while playing these champions are the only ones capable of accomplishing this feat, it is not easy to do as it requires micromanagement of the champion's pathfinding. And that is in addition to counting on the fact that a bug doesn't hit Turrets, again.

All you need to do, though it's not as simple as it seems as pixels are all that divide you from taking a turret shot, is to click on the two marked areas.

To orient yourself more easily in-game, the one closer to the champion model in this instance is a piece of rock while the second is a piece of grass. In addition to a lot of practice, higher-end settings help with accomplishing this, of course.

One thing to note, however, is that this cannot be accomplished between the blue side turrets as they are placed closer together than the red side ones. Just another way to favor the blue side, similar to blue minions having a bigger range than those of the red side!
