LoL Lunar Revel 2023 Event: Everything You Need to Know
The Lunar Revel Event has finally hit live servers. This is going to be the first big event in League of Legends of 2023, with two new prestige skins, as well as a lot of other prizes you can pick up by playing League of Legends.
Let's go over what you need to know about this event. What can you get, how much is the pass and the bundle? Honestly, this is just like any other LoL event, so don't expect anything huge to chnge to kick off 2023.
LoL Lunar Revel 2023 Event: Event Pass vs. Event Pass Bundle
2023 is going to start just like 2022 ended, with an event where players can purchase a pass or a pass bundle to earn as many tokens as possible and spend those on the things you want in the event shop. How much does the pass cost and what is included in the pass?

LoL Lunar Revel 2023 Event Track: Your Free to Play Rewards
The track has fifty milestones, but not all of them are going to give rewards for free to play players. Those of you who got the pass can earn something at every single milestone. If you're curious waht you can earn every step of the way, make sure to check the official event page from Riot.
Here are all the free rewards in the event track and which milestone you need to reach to earn them.

For players who have bought the pass, after fifty milestones they'll enter the infinitely repeating missions which each give 20 Tokens. You will need to earn 2,000 Event Tokens to pick up the Prestige Mythmaker Sivir skin.
Event Missions For LoL Lunar Revel 2023 Event
Getting through the event pass is pretty easy. You'll earn points just by playing games. There are also going to be in-game missions to complete to progress through the event pass. So let's go over the missions to truly know when you'll be able to pick up one of those nice new skins in the event shop.
With the Lunar Revel event encompassing two different skin lines, there will be missions for both of them. The Mythmaker skins have already released, while the Lunar Gods skins will be added to the LoL client at a later date.
Mythmaker Missions

Lunar Revel Missions
These missions will be available on January 26, 2023 and will be released alongside the Lunar Gods Skins that Riot has already revealed on the PBE.

What is in the Lunar Revel 2023 Event Shop?
There are going to be a lot of skins available in the event shop, with two skin lines releasing to celebrate the year of the Rabbit on the Chinese Lunar Calendar. Of course, you can also pick up the usual orbs, mystery emotes and other things in the event shop with your tokens.

LoL Rotating Game Mode For Lunar Event
The next rotating game mode will be ARURF. This game mdoe is the same as URF, Ultra-Rapid-Fire, but instead of getting to choose the champion you want, ARAM rules are applied and you get assigned a random champ. Hopefully you get something fun!
Whether Riot will release a new game mode for 2023 is yet to be determined, but we aren't holding our breaths on this, nor that events will become more than just a glorified shop.

Lunar New Year Event Duration
The Lunar New Year Event will start on January 12, 2023, a day after the first League of Legends patch drops and will go for one month until February 14, 2023.
