We all remember the original League of Legends rivals, whose release was followed by a quest whenever both were in a game together. Whoever killed the other first, Kha'Zix or Rengar, would be the winner of their hunt.
Not long ago, we heard about new nemesis quests coming to the game. These have now been revealed and we are taking a look at all of them.
LoL: Season 2024 All Lore Quests In Game
The most recent quest came with the release of Hwei, the grudge between Hwei and Jhin, Some are still being worked on, and we will be getting more throughout the year. I expect some more coming with Arcane Season 2 as well.
The next quest relates to Jax and Bel'Veth. One fights to push back the Void from whence it came, while the other wants to carve out her own Kingdom in material reality.

Fishing in the Lavender Sea (Bel'Veth vs Jax)
Bel'Veth instructions:
Bel'Veth's grand design starts with the cry of the Baron. Contributing to taking Baron Nashor permanently enhances Bel'Veth and dooms Jax.
"None will stand in my way, not even the Icathian warrior. All will end in my beginning."
Jax instructions:
Jax must prevent Bel'Veth from consuming the world, starting with Baron Nashor. Contributing to taking down Baron Nashor empowers Jax in his fight against the void.
"Great. If the Void Empress eats this place, where am I meant to fish!?"
Bel'Veth win - Drown the Doomed:
Slaying Baron Nashor has empowered Bel'Veth. Killing Jax now drops Void Coral that grants Bel'Veth her true form.
"The fire of Icathia dims. My sea of silence reigns eternal."
Jax win - Apex Angler:
Slaying Baron Nashor has empowered Jax. Jax gained 5 stacks of Bel'Veth's passive, Death in Lavender, and gains an additional 5 stacks each time he slays Bel'Veth or assists in her defeat. Gain attack speed per stack.
"Baron, Bel'Veth - hah! No one's takin' this world, not now, not ever."
Bel'Veth loss - Back to the Abyss:
Bel'Veth did not slay Baron Nashor, preventing her from reaching her true strength.
Jax loss - Grandmaster of None:
Jax did not slay Baron Nashor, preventing him from reaching his true strength.
Still, the balance seems a bit skewed towards Bel'Veth, as junglers have a bigger say in whether Baron gets taken, compared to top laners.
And, speaking of an unbalanced quest, we have the culmination of different Ionian ideologies duking it out. Finally, Shen and Zed will show if offense is the best defense, or vice versa!
Unfortunately, Riot seem to favor top laners, as they do with the beginning of every season, including the upcoming season 14, and have made it far easier for Shen to do his job, than for Zed to do his. Not to mention Shen's reward to be a whopping 30% stronger shield, compared to Zed's 2% damage increase, based on enemy max health.

Battle of Spirit and Shadow (Shen vs Zed)
Shen instructions:
Shen must prevent Zed from using the full power of the shadows. Damage and take him down before he can kill 2 nearby allies.
"Zed is too far gone. I will stand against his shadows."
Zed instructions:
Zed must prove the power of the shadows against Shen. Kill 2 enemy champions near Shen while avoiding getting taken down by him.
"Shen represents weakness. I welcome the might of the shadows."
Shen win - Enforced Equilibrium:
Shen has defeated Zed, protecting allies and restoring harmony to the battlefield. The Shield from Ki Barrier is now 30% stronger.
"No mourning Zed. I press on, empowered by the spirits I've saved."
Zed win - Enlightened Shadows:
Zed defeated Shen, finding strength in darkness. Contempt for the Weak deals an additional 2% of the target's max health.
"Shen's equilibrium did not protect them from me - for I have no equal."
Shen loss - Overwhelming Shadow:
Shen could not Shield his allies. Darkness has won this day.
Zed loss - Thwarting Spirit:
Zed's power was not enough to eliminate Shen's allies before falling to him in battle.
Finally, the brothers of Shurima are coming down in an epic showdown, between brains and brawn. This quest is the least complete of them all, so the descriptions are lacking.
It's a bittersweet duel, where the younger brother is forced to put his older brother down due to his madness, while the elder brother knows nothing but blood and rage, from Xerath's corrupting influence.

Bad Blood (Nasus vs Renekton)
Nasus instructions:
Kill Renekton while Nasus' Ultimate Ability, Fury of the Sands, is active.

Nasus win - Wisdom Exalts:
With Renekton's defeat, Nasus' Ultimate Ability, Fury of the Sands, now lasts longer and grants additional size.

Renekton win - Wrath Empowers:
With Nasus' defeat, Renekton's Ultimate Ability, Dominus, now lasts longer and grants additional size.
"That dog is no brother of mine. He is dead - I am death!"
Nasus loss - Burial of the Sands:
Nasus has fallen to Renekton's rage. The size Nasus gains from his Ultimate Ability, Fury of the Sands, has decreased.
"I failed Renekton, failed Shurima. The Butcher of the Sands returns in chaos and carnage."
Renekton loss - Dominus, Defeated:
Renekton has fallen to Nasus' will. The size Renekton gains from his Ultimate Ability, Dominus, has decreased.
"What am I? Dust and blood, back in the dark?"
There is also a quest between our favourite space puppy and the new hatchling coming to the rift. The rivalry between Smolder and Aurelion Sol is mostly meant as a joke between them, but it's a really cute, wholesome interaction.
Aurelion Sol aims to show Smolder that he's no mere terrestrial dragon! Each stack earned by either Smolder or Aurelion Sol increases the size of the reward. Earn the reward by killing or assisting a kill on Smolder before he gets you.
"I'm a cosmic dragon, not your little playmate. I suppose it's time I teach you the difference."
Smolder Instructions:
Reach Level 9+ and collect 70+ stacks.
Smolder has challenged his new friend Aurelion Sol to a game. Each stack earned by either Smolder or Aurelion Sol increases the size of the reward. Earn the reward by killing or assisting a kill on Aurelion Sol before he gets you.
"Ready or not, here I come!"
Aurelion Sol Win Reward: Gains Stellar Stacks
Aurelion Sol has taught young Smolder an important lesson and earned himself a cash out ofstacks. Gain all the stacks Smolder and you banked during the quest for a total of X stacks.

Kindred Win Reward: Gains Soul Escorted
Kindred has ushered Tryndamere into the next realm, earning a bonus stack of their Passive Ability, Mark of the Kindred.

Tryndamere Win Reward: Gains Death Thwarted
Tryndamere has avoided Kindred once more. His Mocking Shout Ability now lasts 1 second longer.

Also, during the Cinematic, we saw the incredible fight between the Twin Blades of Justice and the Darkin Aatrox.

Kill Kayle or Morgana twice before they can do the same to Aatrox.

Take Down Aatrox twice before he can do the same to Kayle. An ally Morgana can aid her, but if Aatrox kills Morgana, he'll creep closer to victory. Kayle's Ultimate Ability, Divine Judgement, will improve upon besting him.
"Justice has vanquished Aatrox before. It is time again for him to writhe in its righteous flames!"
Take down Aatrox twice between both Morgana and Kayle and avoid being struck down by him the same amount of times in order to improve Morgana's Black Shield Ability.

Aatrox Win Reward: Gains Sweet Oblivion
On Aatrox's path to bring about the end of all things' there is no one and nothing that can stand in his way. His Ultimate Ability, World Ender, now lasts 3 seconds longer during which Aatrox becomes visually larger.

Kayle/Morgana Win Reward: Gains Guardian of the Realm
Kayle has stopped Aatrox. Her Divine Judgement Cooldown is now reduced by 10 seconds and is visually larger.

Hwei fell to Jhin's machinations, making Hwei unable to reach his full potential.

Everybody knows the tragic tale of Lucian's Wife, Senna, being trapped in Thresh's Lantern but ever since she was released as a champion she also had a special quest with the Chain Warden.

Thresh Win Reward: Gains Welcome Home
Poor Senna, nobody escapes the lantern. Thresh has recaptured her soul and absorbed some of her power gaining +30 attack damage, +40 attack range, and +20% critical strike chance.
Relax, just… let go: Poor Lucian, he was never able to find peace. Thresh has imprisoned his soul and absorbed some of his power gaining +30 attack damage, +40 attack range, and +20% critical strike chance.
Senna/Lucian Win Reward: Gains Purity… peace
Thresh has finally been allowed to pass. This unit absorbed some of his power gaining +30 ability power and +30 armor.
While one of the quests is directed at the Void, the developers have confirmed that there will be no Void event in 2024, unfortunately. It's still interesting to see the lore of Shurima, thelore of siblings, Ionia, and more, come to life.
Now, if only we got some more quests targeting other regions of Runeterra. Or at least an explanation of how Riot intend to implement this without ruining the balance of the game completely.
