Martin "Wunder" Nordahl Hansen will be leaving Fnatic as was just announced by the org in a goodbye video for the top lane player.

This comes as no surprise, with Fnatic having benched the top laner ahead of the 2023 LEC Spring Split after a poor showing during the Winter Split.

LoL: Wunder Refused To Play On Fnatic

After a poor performance during the 2023 LEC Winter Split, Fnatic was working on a new roster and rebuilding the team. Wunder, a very outspoken player, did not like the direction the team was going in and refused to play.

He admitted this on stream with IWillDominate. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that Fnatic have now let the top laner go.

The announcement of Wunder leaving Fnatic has gone viral online, with many fans hoping that another LEC team will pick up the iconic top laner. Most are hoping for Team Heretics to pick him up, meaning he would play alongside jungler Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski again.

Of course, nothing has been confirmed, but we do know that if Wunder does want to keep playing professional League of Legends, there are options out there for him, as well as in any ERL as well. Or, he can just become a full-time World of Warcraft streamer and player.
