Worlds 2022 Event: New Skins, Rewards & More
Worlds 2022 is up and running, and alongside the Championship, we got a whole new event filled with new skins and rewards. So if you weren’t hyped enough for the biggest competition in League of Legends already, this event might help you along the way. Here is everything you need to know about the Worlds 2022 Event.
The Worlds 2022 Play-In Stage just finished, and we are excited for the next Worlds stage to begin. For now, we are all wondering who will come out on top. Who knows, maybe this is the year of NA, or maybe we will see another yet year with the LPL and the LCK reigning on top.
While waiting for the Group Stage matches to begin, we turn to League of Legends to earn some fun rewards and try out the featured game mode. This time Riot Games is trying out something new and have spoiled us with three different types of missions for everyone to enjoy.
But what is the featured game mode for this year, what are the rewards, and which skins will be available to purchase? Don't worry, we have gathered all the information you need right here.
When is the Worlds 2022 Event?
The event has officially started, and if you go and check out your League of Legends client right now, you will see it live in action. Here are the official dates for the start and the end of the event:
- Start: October 6, 2022, at 1:00 PM (PT)
- End: November 14, 2022, at 11:59 PM (PT)
- Shop Closes: November 21, 2022, at 1:00 PM (PT)
Worlds 2022 Missions - Free Missions for Everyone
As already mentioned, this year, Riot Games is trying out something new. For the Worlds 2022 event, Riot Games will have three different types of missions, all available for players to enjoy.
Usually, some of the missions could only be completed with the event pass, but this time, some of the rewards are locked instead of the missions.
When completing the missions, you will earn LoL Event XP, which is used in the new Riot Games' Event Pass HUB, made specifically for Worlds. The Event XP progresses you through the Pass Track, which is where you can earn all your rewards.
Worlds 2022 Missions: Infinite Pass Mission
In addition to the three main missions this year, we will also get a chance to earn 200 LoL Event XP for every 200 points we earn from just playing the game.
Regardless if you win or loose, LoL Event Points can be earned!
Worlds 2022 Missions: Spirit Blossom
After a long wait, Spirit Blossom is finally returning to the Rift. Honestly, is there a better way to celebrate the biggest LoL competition than by bringing back one of the most beloved skins to League of Legends? I think not.
Anyway, the Spirit Blossom missions will be the first missions to be available for Worlds 2022. The missions will be available from October 6, 1:00 PM (PT) to November 14, 11:59 PM (PT)
Below, you can find all the missions for Spirit Blossom, and as a heads up, know that the missions have to be completed in chronological order.

Worlds 2022 Missions: Tales from the Rift
What is League of Legends without its Halloween theme? Nothing. Therefore, League of Legends will have a third of their missions in honor of Halloween and their new Bewitching skins.
The Bewitching Missions will be available from October 20, 1:00 PM (PT) to November 14, 11:59 OM (PT)

Worlds 2022 Missions: Empyrean
The final missions will net you another 3,900 Event XP and that they will be available from November 3, 1:00 PM (PT) to November 14, 11:59 PM (PT). These are going to be part of the upcoming Empyrean skins.

Worlds 2022 Event: Pass & Pass Bundle
You might not get additional missions with the new event pass bundle. However, you will get the chance to earn premium rewards in the Event Pass and Shop.
(The bolded rewards in the Reward Section below will be available for everyone, whereas the rest of the rewards are Event Pass exclusive.)
You will have two options in your shop if you want to get an event pass. Here are the two options and what they come with:
- Worlds 2022 Pass (1650 RP): 200 Worlds Tokens, 4 Worlds 2022 Orbs, Premium Worlds 2022 Pass Rewards.
- Worlds 2022 Pass Bundle (2650 RP): Master Yi, Spirit Blossom Master Yi skin, Spirit Blossom Master Yi Border, 200 Worlds Tokens, 4 Worlds 2022 Orbs, Premium Worlds 2022 Pass Rewards.
Worlds 2022 Event: Rewards
As we already mentioned, Riot is doing missions differently this year, and for this event, you can gain over 2000 tokens in total.
For players not purchasing the event pass, the number of rewards will be significantly smaller. We have gathered all the highlight-milestones in the event pass, where you can earn some exciting rewards.
Again, the rewards written in bold will be available for everyone, whereas the rest are only available for players who have purchased the Worlds 2022 Event Pass.

Worlds 2022 Featured Game Mode - URF
URF is back for Worlds 2022, and this time, with no more random picks!
URF is like a normal game mode but on crack. In URF, you can spam all your abilities, as they cost no mana, have highly reduced cooldown, and deal "Tons of damage."

You will be able to choose whichever champion you would like to play, as long as they are not banned. Is anyone else ready to find the most broken champions and spam them until the event is over? I know I am.
