Spirit Blossom Skin Comeback Sooner Than Expected | Teaser Video Released

The League of Legends Spirit Blossom skins belong to one of the more beloved skin lines and will make a comeback for PC in 2022 and Riot just released a teaser with a bunch of easter eggs. Some of the skins are also rumored to finally make an appearance in Wild Rift. So let's check out the latest League of Legends skin leaks. 

The Spirit Blossom skins were hugely successful when first released in 2020. Not only is the skin line known for its beautiful aesthetics and lore, but it also provides a thematic fit for each of its champions. Lucky for us, we can now expect even more Spirit Blossom skins to be released already in 2022. So, let's look at what we know so far.

When Can We Expect the Release of the Spirit Blossom Skins?

Having big releases for the League of Legends Worlds Championship is something Riot usually does. We got the K/DA comeback in 2020, and for the Worlds Championship 2021, Riot released their hugely successful Netflix Series Arcane. The new Spirit Blossom Skin will probably be the big thing Riot decides to do for the League of Legends Worlds Championship 2022.

All this information comes from known the well-known leaker BigBadBear on YouTube. In his youtube video, he states that the skins will probably be released in League of Legends Patch 12.19. This also makes sense, as the Patches for the League of Legends Worlds Championship usually occur in either Patch .18 or .19. 

We now have even more information about the upcoming skins as League of Legends has officially come out with a teaser video featuring Sett as the main character (just where he belongs).

Which Champions Will Get a Spirit Blossom Skin?

All the Spirit Blossom skins haven't been officially released yet, but a few were leaked. At first, it was suspected that Nami might receive a skin, but that might have been a skin for Wild Rift instead, though we wouldn't mind a Nami Spirit Blossom skin, right?

BigBadBear is confident that the skin release will include a new double variant Legendary skin, similar to the ones we already have in the game with Dawnbringer and Nightbringer Soraka or Solar and Lunar Eclipse Leona.

Recently, BigBadBear came out with another video revealing every champion that will get a Spirit Blossom skin. The video even showed that Master Yi will get a prestige skin for this patch. Here is a list of all the champions that should receive a Spirit Blossom skin:

• Sett (Legendary)
• Soraka
• Syndra
• Evelynn
• Tristana
• Master Yi (Prestige)
• Aphelios
• Darius
• Yorick

League of Legends Releases Video Teaser

On September 16, 2022, Riot released a video featuring some hints to which champions will receive a skin. So, let's take a look at the video and see what teasers we can find, shall we? 

The first character we see in the beginning and throughout the whole teaser is, clearly, Spirit Blossom Sett. But what other easter eggs can we find? Here are some speculations of characters that will get a skin, gathered from Reddit. 

Champions We Can Definitely See

Some Champions, we can see clearly in the video: 

• Spirit Blossom Sett (throughout the teaser): Sett is seen wandering around looking for his father while talking to his mom. 
• Spirit Blossom Master Yi (0:55): In the waterfall, we can see a champion we believe to be Master Yi because of his well-known stances. 
  
• Spirit Blossom Syndra (01:05): In this scene, we see Sett approaching a woman with three orbs containing butterflies, and who else can that be if not Syndra? In the video, this character is known as "The Spirit of Freedom"

Champions We Might See

• Spirit Blossom Aphelios (0:21): The water reflects the moon, which could hint at Aphelios having a skin.
• Spirit Blossom Karma (0:23): After Sett steps into the water puddle, we see two twin crescents. This could represent Karma's spinning crescents we find on her back. 
• Spirit Blossom Darius (0:27): On the right side, just below Sett, we see an Oni axe, the axe looks like Darius' axe, Aspathines.
• Spirit Blossom Yorick (0:27): On Reddit, there were comments speculating that the weapon on the left side is Aphelios' Crescendum, but we at Riftfeed think it looks more like Yorick's shovel. 

• Spirit Blossom Soraka / Bard (0:35): Here, we see a lot of small creatures floating around, which look a lot like Bard's Meeps. There is also this purple thing on the left of Sett which has a lot of the same stylistic attributes we also find in Bard. But looking closer at it, it seems to be a staff that could belong to Soraka. 
• Spirit Blossom Evelynn (0:40):  Eyes creeping between the trees has to be Evelynn, right?
  
• Spirit Blossom Vex / Tristana (0:45): Sitting on the branch, it looks like we can see a female yordle. Many people are speculating this to be Tristana, but it also looks. a lot like Vex.

As we can see, many of the newer speculations fit with what we already know from BigBadBear. Which skins do you hope will be a part of the new skin line?

Can We Expect a Spirit Blossom Event?

According to BigBadBear, we will likely get a Spirit Blossom Event together with the skins, but it won't be as big as the Star Guardian event. Like other Riot events, we can expect this one to also happen on other Riot Platforms, in this case, Wild Rift.

BigBadBear states that if the Spirit Blossom Event does occur for Wild Rift as well, some of the Spirit Blossoms that we already find on the PC version, like Yone, Riven and Kindred, could come to Wild Rift. Also, the Spirit Blossom Nami skin is rumored to come to the mobile game, plus an exclusive Legendary Spirit Blossom skin for Akali.
