The 2022 cinematic is going to be released sooner than you might think. Ahead of every League of Legends season, Riot releases a cinematic to get players excited and hyped to play the game. These videos will usually include some of the most popular champions as well.

So, when is the cinematic going to drop and what else can we expect from the Riot Livestream this year? That’s what we will take a look at today. Will our prediction of a Void event come true?

When is the Riot 2022 Livestream?

The live stream will take place on January 7, 2021 at 4 PM CET or 7 AM PST. So if you’re living out west you’ll have to set an alarm clock to wake up in time for the big announcements. We will likely learn about upcoming champion releases, as well as new skins and anything on esports.

Of course, the live stream will also showcase the upcoming League of Legends cinematic. Last year Riot revealed their huge in-game event – the Ruination, while in previous years Riot showed off their cinematics with epic music and fight scenes.

Will We Find Out About Upcoming Events?

Yes, During the Live Stream we will likely also find out about upcoming events, as well as new skins that will be a part of the event. Of course, that means that champion releases will also play a key part in the live stream.
