Where is the Czech AD Carry going to?
Carzzy Leaves MAD Lions
MAD Lions AD Carry Matyáš "Carzzy" Orság announced his departure from the team today after two years on the team.
The transfer season is in full swing and, as usual, the LEC is being rocked by a series of big roster changes. After several rumors, we got a confirmation that Matyáš "Carzzy" Orság, the Czech AD Carry of MAD Lions, will not be playing for the team in 2022. The player posted this on his own Twitter account and it was soon confirmed by the official MAD Lions one.
Carzzy joined the LEC in 2020 on the then-rookie MAD Lions team when it took the spot of Splyce. The Lions quickly gained popularity as an explosive team, especially after they defeated G2 Esports in their first playoffs and forced them to play through the lower bracket.
The team truly came into its own in 2021, when they won their first LEC title in the spring, becoming only the fourth team ever to lift up the European cup. At MSI, they had an exciting five-game showdown with then world champions DWG KIA, before returning to defend their title in summer and being the only LEC team to get out of groups at Worlds. Carzzy has achieved a lot in these past two years - but the 19-year old Czech no doubt has appetite for more. If his time with MAD Lions is any indication, he's going to get it.
For now, there is no confirmation where Carzzy will be going. The rumor mill points towards Team Vitality, who are reportedly assembling a very strong roster likely to feature Luka "Perkz" Perković. In the meantime, however, we can only guess.
