These are the Potential EDG Worlds Skins

The most important question after any LoL Worlds is which champions the players will choose for their World Championship skins. Of course, this year's 2021 League of Legends World Champions were asked the same question at their post-game press conference.

Which champions did they say they wanted and which skin theme will they choose? Last year, DAMWON KIA chose a greek god theme in the color scheme of their organization. This year, EDG has the doors wide open with a large champion pool to choose from as well.

Which Champions are Eligible to be Picked?

So not just every single champion can be picked by the players. With over 150 champions, there are quite a lot that are available, but Riot has put a wrench in every World Champions' plans.

• How many people tuned in to watch the 2021 World Championship finals?

Only those champions someone used throughout the tournament are eligible to be picked for a World Championship skin. This means, that even if a player loves to play Ekko, never used Ekko during Worlds, they won’t be able to create a skin for this champion. RIP Ekko.

Which Champions Have the EDG Players Played during Worlds?

Let’s take a look at the champions that the individual players have used throughout the month-long tournament. Maybe your main is on the list and you’ll see a neat EDG-themed skin coming in 2022.

Champions Flandre Played

Flandre played a total of six champions. Crazy to think he managed such a low number throughout 15 knockout stage games, right?

Flandre did express that he would likely be picking either Jayce or Graves for his Worlds skin.

Champions Jiejie Played

The rookie jungler shone on picks like Jarvan IV and Lee Sin. So which of the six champions he played throughout the 2021 World Championship will he pick?

• Viego
• Olaf

Jiejie didn’t know which champion skin he would be getting, but wants a champion that represents himself.

Champions Scout Played

Scout, the finals MVP, had the most diverse champion pool out of anyone from his team. This means he also has the widest range of champion picks at 11.

• Twisted Fate
• Lissandra
• Syndra
• Malzahar
• Azir
• Orianna
• Viktor
• Zoe

Scout stated that he would likely choose a champion that he played in the finals, meaning Zoe, LeBlanc, Ryze or Twisted Fate are options for his Worlds 2021 skin.

Champions Viper Played

Viper came to the LPL and dominated after a lackluster year in the LCK. He played out of his mind and has a total of seven champions to choose from.

• Aphelios
• Kai’Sa
• Jinx

Viper will likely pick either Aphelios or Lucian for his World Championship skin. Aphelios would look great in EDG colors.

Champions Meiko Played

Meiko has been through it all with EDG. The highs of winning MSI, the lows of not even making it past the quarter-final year after year. Finally, he is rewarded with the World Championship and 8 champions to choose a skin for.

Meiko stated that he has three champions in mind, Yuumi, Lulu or Nami. His iconic Nami pick would be insanely popular, but we will find out soon.
