Earlier this week, we covered some rumors regarding Jinx being leaked as a playable character in Fortnite to promote Arcane. Riot are collaborating with PUBG Mobile and Fortnite to bring some hype for the upcoming Netflix series, days before it's release. Well, the announcement has finally dropped and we now have some information on Jinx's arrival to the Battle Royale Island!

As we mentioned in our previous article, this isn't the first big crossover event to come to Fortnite. In fact, Fortnite is basically known for their wacky in-game events. They've hosted in-game concerts for famous artists like Travis Scott, Marshmellow, and Ariana Grande all within the past few years.

How can you play as Jinx in Fortnite?

Epic Games worked together with Riot to make Jinx available as an in-game skin. Fans can use the most insane champion from LoL, Jinx, as a skin after purchasing the "Arcane Jinx" Skin in the item-shop. There are a few accessories to go with this outfit, if you have the extra V-Bucks.

  • Pow-Pow Crusher Pickaxe
  • “Jinxed” Spray Sticker
  • Dream Monkey Back Bling
  • “Pow” Loading screen

Some lucky fans were able to receive free giveaway codes for Arcane Jinx via Ninja's Fortnite Stream on 11/4, but these are no longer being given out.

When Does Jinx release in Fortnite?

As of 11/4/2021 - 8PM ET:  The Arcane Jinx Fortnite Skin is available for purchase! Make sure you pick up this skin before it's no longer available!

How to download LoL from Epic Games Client?

Another exciting part of this epic-collab (pun intended) is that players can now download Riot-made games on the Epic Games store! Epic Games had this to say in their announcement regarding the partnership:

"Along with this skin, Riot and Epic Games are partnering up to bring titles such as: League of Legends PC, Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, and VALORANT to the Epic Games Store."

What do you think about this change? Will this attract a younger audience to League of Legends?
