While this off-season has been crazy with moves left, right and centre, one team has decided to stay together... well mostly. Cloud9 has just revealed their roster for the 2023 season and for anyone who liked what they saw in 2022 then you can breathe easy.

On November 24, 2022 Cloud9 revealed their team for the 2023 LCS Season. For those of you who enjoyed the team and their play in the summer of 2022 then this is the perfect news for you, because it seems like T1 isn't the only team staying together in 2023.

Cloud9 Reveal their LoL Roster for the 2023 LCS Season

On Twitter, Cloud9 revealed the players that will be donning the white and blue C9 jerseys come 2023. Most of these names will come as no shock to any fans and you will be happy to note that a lot of players have decided to stay for the 2023 once more.

These are some pretty big changes coming in LoL Patch 12.23:

Cloud9 was one of the best NA teams this year and they even had a decent week 2 showing at the 2022 League of Legends World Championship. With more practice and time to build chemistry, this could be a roster that might bring back some honour to the tarnished LCS region, right?

These are the players staying with C9 for the 2023 season:

  • Top: Ibrahim ‘Fudge’ Allami
  • Jungle: Robert ‘Blaber’ Huang
  • Bot Lane: Kim ‘Berserker’ Min-cheol
  • Support: Jesper ‘Zven’ Svenningsen

So four of five players will retain a spot on the C9 roster for the next season, leving only the mid lane open, but worry not, C9 has already announced their new mid laner as well.

New Young European Talent in the Mid Lane

Cloud9 will field Dimitri ‘Diplex’ Ponomarev in the mid lane for the 2023 season. He is known for his skill on melee champions, as well for his great teamfights. He will leave behind the academy team of Vitality and make his way into the LCS for the 2023 season.

This is the complete roster of C9, so will they be able to make NA proud or is this going to be another roster that looks great on paper, but is doomed to fail internationally, as is usual for any NA team?
