Riot are going to be celebrating Pride Month this year as well. Back in 2018 the team started to include content throughout the month of June, highlighting diversity and acceptance in League of Legends. This year is no different with new in-game content being added to League of Legends, as well as all other Riot titles.

In a new blog post Riot Prism outlined what is being added to the Riot universe for Pride Month so let's go over everything you can get!

LoL Pride Month: New & Old Emotes Return

This month we're getting two new emotes, one of Vi and another of K'Sante. Those aren't the only emotes we're getting this year though, with the Partners in Crime, Accepted, and Pride 2022 emotes also making a return for anyone who wants to pick them up in the League of Legends client.

  • Check out some more infromation on League of Legends and your favorite champions with Realms of Runeterra!

Along with the emotes we're also going to be getting the homeguard trails, which will automatically attach if you get one of the Pride icons. You can get the icons in the shop, but they will cost you a whopping 1 Blue Essence. I'm not sure about you, but you might want to save that 1 BE for an upcoming Blue Essence Emporium... if we ever get one again.

How To Unlock Pride Emotes

It's very easy to unlock the Pride Emotes. You'll have to simply finish missions that will popup in your client. These missions should start on June 1, 2023 and end June 22, 2023. That way you can unlock the two new emotes for free.

MissionMission RequirementReward
The Pride of NazumahAs a Team, slay four Epic Monsters or Earn points from time spent playing and winning games (750)Emote: Flex
The Pride of PiltoverPlay as a premade group (2 or more) or Earn points from time spent playing and winning games (750)Emote: Light ‘em up

You can also get the older emotes from 2022 by purchasing them in the shop for 1 Blue Essence... so again it's basically free since everyone has BE lying around, right?

Other Pride Content In Riot Games

You can also receive a new emote in TFT by playing two games of TFT or one game of double up. That's it... that's the missions and you'll be able to receive a new emote. Just make sure to play before June 30, 2023.

Legends of Runeterra is also going to include a lot of new content like an emote as well and Wild Rift will also have some new emotes and icons available as well. So, let's celebrate Pride across all Riot Games titles!
