Is There A Single Player To Blame For Vitality Failure?
Team Vitality is cursed. It's that simple. Throughout the last few years the team has not been able to be as successful as the names on the roster should be and Summer 2023 marks a true disaster.
With no chance of making it to the playoffs, and barely a chance of going to Worlds 2023 in South Korea, fans are looking for someone to blame, but is a single player at fault here?
LoL Fans Put Blame On Veteran Mid Laner
The one player that has received the most hate on Team Vitality is none other than mid laner Luka "Perkz" Perković. He is the center piece of the roster and the most well-knonw player so it's obvious that the community would rally against him.

It even got to the point, where one player went on Reddit to defend him, stating that the entire team has failed and is to blame.
While it is true, that Perkz has not played up to par and what most would assume coming from the GOAT of the West, but League of Legends is still a team game and a single player, playing sub-par shouldn't cause such an implosion on such a strong roster.
In the bot lane veteran's Norman "Kaiser" Kaiser and Elias "Upset" Lipp are also part of the team, along with their strong top laner Gyutae "Photon" Kyung, who had been part of the T1 Challengers roster previously.
The team has been going through rough times, with jungler Yang-Bo "Bo" Zhou, getting benched for Week 3.
Players have pointed out that none of the Vitality players have been playing well throughout the Summer Split and they are all to blame for the state of the team right now.

They don't communicate, they have disjointed teamfights. It's clear that we won't be seeing Vitality with the same roster next year, but blaming a single player for this is not the way to go.
Team Vitality will have to rebuild going into 2024, but with which players is yet to be determined.
