The 2022 LCK Summer Split is nearing an end, with everyone looking ahead at the 2022 World Championship. The LCK will be able to field 4 teams in North America, but which four teams will be the Korean representative?

Which Teams Qualified for the LCK 2022 Playoffs?
Thus far, no team has qualified for the 2022 LCK Summer Split playoffs. The season is not even halfway through yet and more teams will be competing for a slot to qualify for the biggest esports event in the world. Though, Gen.G, T1 and DAMWON KIA are all looking poised to represent the LCK once more.
Fredit Brion is lagging behind in the current schedule, not having won a single match as of writing this article, which could easily mean that they won't be making the playoffs anytime soon if they continue this losing streak.
What is the 2022 LCK Playoff Schedule?
The official schedule for the 2022 LCK Summer playoffs has not been revealed yet by Riot Games, but once we near the event and know which teams have qualified, Riot will surely release all the information of when and where to watch your favorite LCK team.
How Does the LCK Playoff Format Work?
The LCK playoff format is very simple. The first and second place teams automatically move onto the semifinals, while the third seeded team will face the sixth place team in the quarters. Fourth and Fifth place will battle it out in the other quarterfinals match.
Ahead of the semifinals, the first place team will be able to choose which team of the quarterfinals winners they want to face.
The winners of the semifinals will meet in the finals on August 28, 2022.
Where Will the LCK Finals Take Place?
The LCK Finals are going to take place in the Gangneung Arena, which hosted the 2018 Winter Olympics. The stadium can hold up to 12,000 people, welcoming fans from all over Korea and the world. Thus far there is no official information on ticket sales, but fans will be allowed to come to the event.
The finals are going to take place on August 28, 2022 so make sure to tune in to watch the two best teams in Korea battle it out for the number one seed going into Worlds.
