LCK 2022 Summer Split | When, Where & Who?

With MSI 2022 being over, the teams take a short break and look forward to the summer split in their own region. With a chance to qualify for Worlds 2022, the summer split is arguably the more important one. 

Let's check out where the games will be played and who will participate in the summer split. 

Where Will The LCK 2022 Summer Split Take Place?

The summer split, will take place at LoL Park, to no one's surprise. This has been the main stage for the LCK for many years now, and it will be the venue for years to come. Hopefully, we'll be able to get a full crowd this time around. Here, T1 will try and defend their spring title. Will anyone be able to dethrone them? 

Where Will the 2022 LCK Summer Finals Take Place?

There is no location announced yet for the 2022 LCK Summer Finals. The 2022 LCK Spring Playoffs took place at KINTEX, in celebration of the 10-year anniversary of the LCK. Who could have known that the LCK is already this old? 

Which Teams Will Be Competing At The LCK 2022 Summer Split?

All the teams from the spring split will be making a return to the summer split. 

When Will The LCK 2022 Summer Split Start?

Even though it was speculated, that the LCK would begin June 8th, the start has been moved to the 15th. Due to the Asia Games 2022 being cancelled, the LCK pushed the start of the Summer Split back by a week. T1, who finished 2nd at MSI 2022, will be playing their 1st game later in the week, which gives them the maximum amount of rest, after an exhausting month of May. Each team will play a double round-robin against every other team, so we expect the regular season to go 10 weeks, with the playoffs being held after that. All matches are best of 3 and the top 6 teams will qualify for the playoffs. The top 2 teams will receive a bye to the semifinals. 

What is the 2022 LCK Summer Split Schedule? 

As already mentioned, the 2022 LCK Summer Split kicked off on June 15, 2022. Games will be held every day of the week, except for Monday and Tuesdays.

Where Can I Watch The LCK 2022 Summer Split? 

You can catch all games live on the LCKs Twitch Channel or watch the vods on their YouTube channel. The games usually start at 5 pm KST or 8 pm KST (10 am CET or 13 pm CET, and for early birds in America that's 4 am ET or 7 am ET). 

Atlus, Valdes, Wolf and Chronicler will be returning to the commentators desk and the analysts carpet space.
