The 2023 Mid-Season Invitational is just around the corner. One more month and we will finally be able to watch international League of Legends again with the top teams from every region meeting up in London, England for some fierce competition.

G2 Esports mid laner and superstar Rasmus "Caps" Borregaard Winther spoke about MSI and the teams he wants to face in an interview with Cybersport

LoL: This Is The Team Caps Wants To Face

Caps is probably the biggest name, other than Rekkles, when it comes to European League of Legends. He's the golden boy and has led G2 to multiple championships and has made the League of Legends World Championship finals twice already.

The young mid laner recently spoke to Cybersport where he mused about the upcoming Mid-Season Invitational. During the interview he was asked about any teams he wishes to face off against.

As of writing this article, G2 Esports is the only team that has qualified for MSI 2023, though whether in first or second place is yet to be determined.

Caps noted that there are many strong eastern teams in the LPL and LCK so it is tough to say who he would love to face, but one team was singled out right away by the star player.

I’m definitely looking forward to playing against T1, yeah, if they make it, but I believe they will.

T1 recently faced off against KT Rolster in one of the first Telecom Wars in a while, going all 5-games during the best of five playoff. During the Spring Split T1 only fell once, going 17-1, with every player making it onto the LCK first All-Star team, so there is good reason to put your money on T1 making it to MSI.

Caps also explained that other than T1 it is hard to tell who could make the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational.

MSI will kick off on May 3, 2023 in London England. Until then, all LoL regions have kicked off their playoffs to determine their region's representative. G2 Esports will play KOI on April 9, 2023 while T1 will play Gen.G on April 1, 2023.
