LoL: T1 Coach Gives Update On Faker's Return
League of Legends superstar Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok recently disclosed that he has been playing through an injury. As a result, he has been benched for T1's most recent match against DRX.
Now, T1 head coach Bae "Bengi" Seong-woong has revealed the expected return date for Faker and the duration of his rest period. The objective is to allow his injuries to heal in time for T1 to participate at the 2023 World Championship.
LoL: Faker Will Be Out For Key Games
The upcoming game for T1, scheduled on July 8, 2023, against Gen.G, is highly anticipated in the LCK. However, it appears that the match will be different from what most fans had hoped for, as Faker will be absent due to his injury.

Faker's injury will sideline him for not only this crucial match but also other significant games. Head coach Bengi announced in a press conference after the 2-0 loss to DRX that Faker would miss at least two weeks of games due to his long-standing arm injury.
Despite the absence of their veteran mid laner, the team's focus now shifts to securing a spot in the playoffs. It remains undisclosed whether Yoon "Poby" Sung-won, their LCK Challengers team call-up, will be the designated player or if they will rotate current players or call up someone else.
T1 faces tough challenges ahead with matches against Gen.G, NongShim, and DPlus KIA.
