MSI 2023 has just entered the Bracket Stage of the tournament with some of the most exciting match ups and games. Obviously, fans will want to tune in to watch their favorite teams and regions compete at the highest level... and tune in they did.

With MSI 2023 being in Europe again this year, the broadcast times have been perfect for European and Asian viewers, so these numbers really aren't all too surprising for most, but would anyone have guessed that they would be this good right from the start?

MSI 2023: MAD vs T1 Spouts Insanely High Viewership

It might not be record-breaking viewership, but the numbers from the first two games of the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational Bracket Stage have been insane. Not only did Gen.G vs G2 Esports manage to outdo almost every single match of MSI 2022, but now MAD vs T1 has taken first place, for now.

In 2022 RNG vs T1 managed 2.1 million peak viewers in the finals. This number is looking to be eclipsed in 2023, with Gen.G and G2 already managing over 1.3 million.

MAD and T1 even outdid the first best-of-five series of 2023 in the Bracket Stage, raking in a peak viewership of 1.46 according to esportscharts. This places the match above every single game in 2022 other than the grand finals, which... well were the finals.

With these numbers, the viewership can only go up from there. The next match will be between C9 and BiliBili Gaming, so we're going to have to wait and see how the North American teams fare in terms of viewership, though it is highly likely the these are going to be the most viewed matches thanks to the huge Chinese audience.

Unfortunately, esportscharts does not take Chinese viewership into account, so the numbers for these matches might seem lower than they really are.

Make sure to tune in to the official League of Legends website for watch drops! The game between BLG and C9 is set to start at 2:00 pm CEST/8:00 am EST
