Evil Geniuses did not have the Spring Split they'd been hoping for. The team made it to fourth place during the regular split and then fell off hard during the playoffs, crushing their hopes of making it to the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational.

Now, as a consequence of this, it seems like Evil Geniuses is going to be making some huge changes to their roster ahead of the Summer Split.

LoL: Will Evil Geniuses Replace Whole Team?

It seems like Evil Geniuses is going to look very different come Summer Split. It all started when the official EG Twitter sent out a mysterious tweet in which they basically announced... an announcement.

Evil Geniuses takes great pride in our commitment to competitive performance and talent development. After outcome of our 2023 Spring Split season we will be making roster changes that fully align with this commitment.

Now this isn't a lot of information, but Evil Geniuses is basically announcing that there could be some huge changes ahead.

This information was backed up by industry-insiders who have also revealed that the team is searching for players in every single role for Summer 2023. It seems the only talent EG is looking ot hold onto is their young mid laner Joseph Joon "jojopyun" Pyun.

According to sources, Kacper "Inspired" Słoma, the team's jungler, is looking to move back to Europe and he could be playing either in the LEC or in one of the many ERL's.

EG has been one of the best performing NA teams throughout the last few years, but is one mediocre split worth losing 90% of the team roster?
