Riot have revealed small tidbits of the new Worlds 2023 anthem. But when can you finally listen to the full song and watch the official video?
Riot is going all out for this years League of Legends World Championship, even getting the hottest kpop group, NewJeans, to perform the LoL Worlds anthem this year. The sound, from the small tidbits we've gotten, is completely different from 2022, but when can we hear the full thing?
Thankfully, Riot have provided fans with an official countdown so they know when to tune in to YouTube to hear the official 2023 League of Legends World Championship anthem.
Worlds 2023: When Will The Anthem Release?
This year, Riot have managed to get the hottest kpop group to perform the 2023 League of Legends anthem. This isn't the first time the company has collaborated with idols. Two members of famous girlgroup G-Idle have performed as members of K/DA and former Super Junior member Henry Lau has also performed on a previous worlds song.

This year, Riot is partnering with NewJeans to bring "GODS" to the public, which will tell the story of the 2022 League of Legends World Champion Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu, who managed to defy all odds and finally win his first World Championship.
The song is set to release on October 4, 2023 and according to the official YouTube video it should make its premiere at 6:57 am CEST / 0:57 am EST. There will likely be a 3-minute countdown, hence why the video is set to debut at such a precise time.
The time is also pretty early in the morning, or late at night, due to the World Championship taking place in South Korea this year, which is also where NewJeans is from. So if you're impatient you can already check out the video and wait for it to premiere... but you'll be waiting for quite some time until it actually releases.
