The League of Legends Eternals were announced around three years ago and has developed quite a bit since that time. Where players once were dissatisfied with the tracking option available for Eternals, they have now become a great way to track your progress on your favorite champions. Here is everything you need to know about the different Eternals and how to find them.

What Are Eternals?

Eternals are champion-specific stat-trackers tracking various types of milestones you achieve in your games. There are three different sets of Eternals available: Starter Series, Series 1 and Series 2

Once an Eternal Series is unlocked, you can begin tracking your progress. The progress will then be visible in the Player Showcase - in the loading screen next to your mastery and on your opponent's death screen

You will also be able to receive callout pop-ups in the game notifying you when you have passed a milestone.

Eternal Series

Since November this year, Riot Games offers three different types of Eternal Series in League of Legends - Starter Series, Series 1 and Series 2. Each Series can be purchased separately and have each a unique set of milestones for every champion.

Common vs. Unique Eternals

Once you unlock an Eternal Series, you will receive different types of Eternal milestones depending on the Series purchased: the Common Eternals and the Unique Eternals

The Common Eternals are not champion specific and track stats such as takedowns and epic monsters killed. The common Eternals are usually part of the Starter Series.

The Unique Eternals, on the other hand, track stats specific to the champion you are playing. For example, if you have unlocked the Eternal Series 1 on Braum, you will be able to track "Harm Rejected", meaning damage blocked with Unbreakable (Braum's E).

Where Can I Find My Eternals?

Finding back to your Eternal progress can be quite a challenge, especially if you don’t know where to look. But no worries, that’s what we are here for, gurl.

If you have already purchased Eternals, you will be able to find your Eternal progress in the "Progression" tab under your champion of choice. There, you will be able to track your progress on each milestone available for your favorite champ.

Where Can I Purchase Eternals?

If you want to give the League of Legends Eternals a try, here is how and where to purchase Eternals.

Eternals can be purchased in the Champions Section of the League of Legends store. Once you are in there, make sure to select the "Eternals" tab on the left side.

Eternal Series Cost

As already mentioned, there are three different types of Eternal Series available for purchase:

TypePrice
Starter Series Eternal:225 RP / 2500 BE
Series 1 Eternal:600 RP
Series 2 Eternal:600 RP

Eternal Passes Cost

If you have a vast champion pool and struggle to stick to only a few champions at a time, the Eternal passes might be more suiting for you.

The Eternal passes allow players to unlock the Eternal Series on every champion in the game. These are, however, a bit more pricey. So do take some time to consider if this is really for you before throwing out your savings for something that isn’t worth it.

TypePrice
Starter Series Eternal Pass:1350 RP / 14750 BE
Series 1 Eternal Pass:5850 RP
Series 2 Eternal Pass:6400 RP

Eternal Capsules

If you are not one to use your own money on in-game features, you can also earn Eternals Capsules by just playing the game.

The Eternal Capsule is a Loot Item you can earn by completing missions during an event, earning a new fourth-tier Ranked Split Reward, etc.

The Eternal Capsule can enable you to receive set chards for RP-only Eternal sets, such as the Series 1 and Series 2 Eternals.

Eternals Mastery Emote

If you hit 15 milestones across one of your eternal sets, your Mastery Emote will upgrade to have an Eternal-exclusive fiery effect

The Mastery Emote can be upgraded multiple times and the more series you complete, the cooler your mastery emote will look.

Depending on which series and champion you choose, you will receive three different milestone missions, each belonging to one of the main Eternal categories.

The different achievements are now represented by the ancient Runeterran gods fitting to your accomplishment. Here is a summary of every Eternal and what they represent:

  • The Warden: Controlling enemies and the flow of the battle
  • The Protector: Keeping yourself and your allies out of harms way
  • The Empress: Abilty to preform superior skills in the heat of battle
  • The Guide: Following, opening or leading the path to victory
  • The Warrior: Demolishing enemies on the battlefield
  • The Trickster: Abiliry to deceit enemies through mind games or premeditated chaos

How to Unlock the Personal Best Milestone

After hitting five milestones on your desired Eternal, you will unlock the Personal Best Feature. Personal Best tracks your all-time single-match best score for that particular Eternal Champion.

Once you beat your Presonal Best during a match, a special milestone pop-up is shown for everyone in the match to see.

How to Disable Eternals

If Eternals wasn’t everything you hoped for and don’t want anything to do with it anymore, there is a way to disable it.

In order to do so, just go to the in-game menu and find the Eternal tab. There, you will find an option to disable Eternals so they won’t pop up on your screen anymore.

If you don’t want to share your Eternal milestones with the enemies or teammates, you can also go to the Eternal tab in the in-game menu and select "Self and team only" or "None".

And with that , you have a pretty broad insight to the Eternals system in League of Legends. Want to know more about the League of Legends Universe?
