League of Legends Fans Hate The New Skarner And Want Him Gone
Earlier this year, Riot finally released the League of Legends Skarner Visual and Gameplay Update. While he looks much better and more menacing, it seems like players are also sick and tired of his playstyle.
Skarner is the newest champion on Summoner's Rift. While he's been around for a while, thanks to the Visual and Gameplay Update from earlier this year, he basically looks and feels like a brand-new champion on Summoner's Rift.
Since it's been a few months since the VGU released, players have had time to get used to the champion and his updated kit, but it seems that most are not happy with where the VGU has landed, making Skarner one of the most annoying champions in the game.
League of Legends: Players Hate Playing Against Skarner
Skarner used to be quite a boring, one dimensional champion. His passive with the spires made him quite predictable, and he was rarely picked. The only part of his kit that brought some semblance of excitement to the game was his ultimate, but even that was quite simple with zero skill expression.
Well, now he's got some more skill expression, but he's also become one of the most annoying champions in the game. He's got a ban rate of almost 11% and players on Reddit have also expressed their annoyance with the champion.
Some players wish that his boulder would have some form of a cooldown or a smaller blast radius, since it's quite strong and empowers Skarner's attacks as well. Being able to continuously hold the boulder is something that a lot of players find quite unfair.
Others have also expressed their frustration with him and that even when Skarner builds tank he still ends up dealing more damage than actual DPS champions. This has some players pretty frustrated and annoyed with the champion, since it seems like there is nothing they can do when going up against the scorpion.
Some players have suggested to change the damage source for his passive to be AD instead of AP, as well as make adjustments to his E range and his W movement. Whether Riot is going to take any suggestions to heart to make changes is yet to be seen. But do you think Skarner is OP or is Reddit just being Reddit?
