Quite a few interesting changes await us in the next patch. Amumu, Lucian, Fleet Footwork and the best skins in the game are just some of them. We checked out the fresh PBE build. Here is what we found out.
Phoenix Skins and Crime City Nightmares are Coming in Patch 11.17
With Patch 11.17 the Crime City Nightmare skin series will be making their debut. In addition to that there are also 3 incredibly looking Phoenix skins. Which Champions are about to join what series, you may ask. Here is the answer.
Phoenix Skins in LoL Patch 11.17
These three beauties are the lucky ones:
- Xayah
- Anivia
- Seraphine
Crime City Nightmare Skins
These are the champions who will be getting Crime City Nightmare skins:
- Darius
- Shaco
- Twisted Fate
- Akali
We knew of Twisted Fate and Akali due to earlier concepts. But we like the others just as much! Shaco looks amazing and darius works as a city gangster as well! Not to mention how stunning Anivia and Xayah look in their new skins. Damn!
LoL Patch 11.17 is Going to Change Amumu Q
Riot's got some plance for the little mummy. They said that they are still trying out things right now, but mostlikely Amumu will get 2 charges for his Q. Just as the Caitlyn W or Teemo R, he can shoot multiple times where both charges have seperate cooldowns. Because of that, they will probably lower his other abilities base damage. Hence Amumu should become more attractive at higher elos. For now the Mummy has all the reasons to be sad.
On the one hand it gives players more flexibility and way better ganks. And of course way faster jungling, because you can jump from camp to camp through walls. But how to escape from a good shooter, who hit the first Q? There wouldn´t even be a reason to flash, Amumu would get you anyway. Might be a bit too strong, doesn't it?
Lucian Changes Shift Him to Bot
Riot wants to see Lucian on bot lane, that's for sure. With Akshan here, it’s time for Lucian to make his way back to the bot lane. For so long he was only seen as a top or mid laner, both in pro play an solo queue. Summoner's Rift lead game designer Jeevun Sidhu stated, that his base AD will be lowered, but his passive will work together with other champs, by buffing the additional damage. There are also changes to his W and R. But read yourselves:
These changes would nerf Lucians solo laning significantly. We catch the feeling, that Riot want their champions back in their original lanes. And Riot get what they want!

Fleet Footwork Changes Coming in LoL Patch 11.17
Actually the developers planed to revamp Fleet Footwork in the now live patch 11.16. But Riot decided to push it back a little. Its base healing will be increased on. Additionally the AD and AP ratios also look to be increased. The only small nerf is the healing from minion hits. Riot try to shift the power of Fleet Footwork into trading. Some might consider it as a solid solo lane rune. Maybe on Twisted Fate, Trundle or Gnar?
LoL Patch 11.17 Release Date
Patch 11.17 will be going live on Wednesday, August 25. If you want to stay up to date with the patch schedule, just checkout the official League of Legends patch schedule. Maybe after that, we will finally catch the first glimpse of Vex on the PBE server since she should be coming in September.
