After KD/A, the next k-pop group is coming.
LoL Worlds 2023 Boy Band Splash Art Apparently Leaked
K-Pop is becoming increasingly popular among western audiences. Following Riot’s successful collaboration with (G)I-DLE to form KD/A, it’s highly probable that another K-Pop group will be working on music for Riot Games.
A LoL boyband was overdue for quite some time. Now we have a leak that could show us the band with all its members.
And remember: Pictures can also be fake, so take all the information with a grain of salt.
LoL Worlds 2023 Boyband Splash Leak
The champions in the picture are Kayn, Yone, Ezreal, K’Sante, Aphelios, and Sett. They are all dressed in the typical K-Pop boy band outfit and the splash art looks well-made. Yone is rumored to receive a Prestige Skin while Kayn is rumored to get a Legendary Skin.
Who Will Sing The LoL Boyband?
We are pretty sure, that it will be the K-Pop boy-band group ATEEZ. They have been seen visiting Riot Headquarters and would fit the energetic style of League of Legends music quite well.
When this picture was posted, there were rumors that ATEEZ might be the ones singing the Worlds Anthem 2023. However, we now know that it was NewJeans who sang the World Championship Anthem.
This leaves the question open: why was ATEEZ at Riot Headquarters? Was it a friendly hangout? I think not.
Who Are ATEEZ?
ATEEZ consists of eight members who are responsible for singing and rapping. The group was founded in 2018 and has over 100 million views on each of their two most popular songs on YouTube.
However, since there are eight members and the LoL boy band only has six members, the question remains as to who will participate in the project. Since Ezreal and K’Sante would be good rappers, the two rappers from ATEEZ are likely to be involved. I also think that the main vocalist will be part of the project.
However, I wonder if K’Sante should actually be vocalized by Lil Nas X. After all, he had a big influence on the champ.
The exact answer to that can only be told by the future.
And remember: leaks can also be fake.
