At the beginning of the 2022 LEC season Yasin "Nisqy" Dinçer was not able to find a home, but he has signed a deal to be back in the LEC just ahead of the 2022 LEC Summer Split so we're going to be seeing the veteran mid laner once more on the LEC stage.

The former Cloud9 and Fnatic mid laner has put up great numbers throughout his career in the LCS and LEC (formerly known as EULCS) and when he didn't have a team at the beginning of 2022 many were worried that he was done playing professionally, but that has changed.

Nisqy Joins the MAD Lions

Nisqy has found a new home with the MAD Lions. The former LEC champions of 2021 did not have a great Spring Split after core pieces of their winning roster switched to other teams. Their former bot laner Carzzy joined Team Vitality, while their former mid laner Humanoid joined Fnatic at the beginning of the 2022 LEC season.

This left a gaping hole for the MAD Lions. In the Spring Split, young mid laner Reeker replaced Humanoid, but after a disappointing Spring Split he switched and joined Team BDS' academy roster in the LFL for the summer. Once again, the MAD Lions had to find a mid laner — enter Nisqy.

There have been rumors floating around that Nisqy was going to sign with the MAD Lions, but on May 6, 2022 the official MAD Lions twitter announced the acquisition of Nisqy. This will give the team some stability thanks to this veteran mid laner as they try to fight for one of the three World Championship spots that is available to the LEC

This means that the final lineup for the 2022 MAD Lions will likely stay the same, with the only new member being Nisqy in the mid lane. Do you guys think that this squad will be able to compete with G2 Esports, Rogue, Fnatic and Vitality to make it to the 2022 World Championship?
