Seo "Kanavi" Jin-hyeok is one of the best junglers in the world and throughout the 2023 he's dominated the scene with out of this world picks, like Nautilus jungle, as well as strong showings on champions like Wukong. Now, the player might reunite with some old friends.

Off-season rumors are afloat everywhere. Whether it's LEC, LCS or LCK teams, there are whispers of insane player signings everywhere and the team that could get their hands on Kanavi for 2024 is in for one hell of a season.

Rumors: LoL Star Kanavi Could Be Back In The LCK In 2024

Before Kanavi was a household name, he was simply a rookie shipped off to China by bad management. He has stuck it out on a mediocre JDG throughout multiple seasons, before truly starting to shine in 2022. Then, in 2023 he had his breakthrough and became the best jungler in the world.

Now, after years in the LPL though, some rumors are stating that he is going to be coming back to the LCK in 2024 and the team that has their eyes on him would reunite the player with two former friends of his from the 2019 Griffin roster.

Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon and Choi "Doran" Hyeon-joon were part of the 2018 and 2019 Griffin roster along with Kanavi, so if both Chovy and Doran renew their contracts with Gen.G we could see a huge part of the 2019 super team be coming together once more in the black and gold of Gen.G.

Right now these are just rumors though, that Kanavi has been invited to try out for Gen.G, but this could be a huge deal if it does go through. Gen.G is known to be the best domestic Korean team, and with someone like Kanavi on the team, they could upgrade to new levels for 2024.

Of course, this would also leave the future of Han "Peanut" Wang-ho in the air. Peanut is one of the best junglers in the LCK so it'll be interesting to see where he could go for 2024 if Gen.G truly does replace him with Kanavi this off-season.
