The Chinese ADC Star Jian"Uzi" Zi-Hao has officially joined EDward Gaming (EDG). This player move was announced on EDG's Twitter page. The 26-year-old bot laner joins EDward Gaming from Bilibili Gaming, where he was listed as "inactive" from March onward.

Before that, Uzi was a long term player for Royal Never Give Up (RNG), with whom he participated at the World Championship in 2018 and 2019 and also won MSI 2018.

At EDward Gaming, Uzi is set to play alongside long term EDG-Support Tian "Meiko" Ye, Midlaner Chu "FoFo" Chun-Lan, Jungler Zhao "Jiejie" Li-Jie and Toplaner Hu "Ale" Jia-Le.

Uzi Is Replacing Leave After Prostitution Scandal

The ADC spot at EDward Gaming freed up after former bot laner Hu "Leave" Hong-Chao was removed from the active roster. Leave is currently involved in a prostitution scandal. As claimed by multiple sources, Leave bought the services of a sex worker. In his home country of China, prostitution is illegal.

In the last couple of weeks, EDG hinted at Uzi potentially joining multiple times. He was even spotted ahead of the announcement by a fan, who climbed a tree near the EDG Training Facilities.

For a lot of Fans it will be interesting to see, how Uzi is going to be integrated into the team and which role he could play in the ongoing LPL Summer 2023. EDG is currently ranked in 12th place with a score of one win to three defeats.

EDG and Uzi will try to regain their form in their next match on June 14, 2023 against Invictus Gaming.
