League of Legends Patch 14.13: Varus Changes, Rune Adjustments & More
League of Legends Patch 14.13 is out and it's making some major changes to the meta, with huge changes to Varus and some popular runes. So let's go over all the buffs and nerfs.

Champion Adjustments
Varus
Varus has got some adjustments made to his kit. Riot want to shake up the pro meta, since the champion is the most popular pro bot laner, while also making him more enjoyable to play. That's why they've adjusted his passive to improve it, especially for on-hit Varus enjoyers out there.

- Attack Damage: 60 ⇒ 57
- Attack Speed Growth: 4% ⇒ 3.5%
P – Living Vengeance
- Minion kill: 10/15/20% (+20% Bonus AS) ⇒ 10% Attack Speed, (10% Attack Speed) AD, and (10% Attack Speed) AP
- Champion Takedown: 40% (+40% Bonus AS) ⇒ 40% Attack Speed, (15% Attack Speed) AD, and (15% Attack Speed) AP
- [NEW] Attack Speed scaling: Now includes attack speed from champion levels
- Attack Speed cap increased from 2.5 to 2.763 during champion takedown passive, meaning the passive itself can bypass the AS cap
W – Blighted Quiver
- Damage: 7/13/19/25/31 ⇒ 7/14/21/28/35
- Missing Health Damage: 6/8/10/12/14% at levels 1/4/7/10/13 ⇒ 6/8/10/12/14% based on rank

System Changes In LoL Patch 14.13
Not only are champions going to be affected by LoL Patch 14.13, but Riot is also making some more changes to a few systems in the game like items and runes. So let's go over those changes as well, since they'll have a major effect on the way you play the game.

- Extraction bonus move speed decaying over 1.5s: 150 ⇒ 200
- Electrocute
- Damage: 30-220 ⇒ 50-190 (bonus ratios unchanged)
- Cooldown: 25-20 (based on level) ⇒ 20
- Dark Harvest
- Damage: 20-80 (+5 per Soul) ⇒ 20 (+9 per Soul) (bonus ratios unchanged)
- Cooldown: 45 ⇒ 40
Recommended Runes Updated
Riot have also made some major updates to rune recommendation for some more champions in LoL Patch 14.13.

- Replaced Coup de Grace with Cut Down
- Replaced Scorch with Gathering Storm
- Trundle (Top)
- Replaced Press the Attack + Inspiration with Grasp of the Undying + Sorcery
- Singed
- Replaced Fleet Footwork + Sorcery with Grasp of the Undying + Precision
- Replaced Legend: Haste with Legend: Alacrity
- On pages with Celerity, replaced Adaptive Force with Movement Speed
ARAM Changes In LoL Patch 13.14
While there are no official balance changes in this League of Legends patch for ARAM, Riot are making some quality of life changes which should feel great for anyone trying to play a casual round of ARAM. A new re-roll cooldown has been added. This means that if a player re-rolls a champion, then their original champ will be on "cooldown" so others cannot snatch the champion away from the original player, just in case they're re-rolling for friends or someone else on the team.
New Rain Shepherd Skins Coming In LoL Patch 14.13
Not only are we getting some major balance changes this patch, but Riot is also going to release a brand-new skin line. This is a new skin line with amazing skins, and we hope more skins in this universe get added soon.
