LoL Patch 12.04 Preview

League of Legends Patch 12.03 was just recently released. A Vel’Koz visual update graced our screen, as well as a whole lot of changes to items which impact the top lane. But what can we say about Patch 12.04?

Let’s take a look at the future and make a few guesses on what Riot will change in the next patch. Some things have already been confirmed — looking at you Renata Glasc — but there are a few other areas that need attention.

Renata Glasc Release in Patch 12.04

The biggest set of news is obviously the release of Renata Glasc. This boss woman will stride onto the rift, poisoning anyone who stands in her way… and what happens when Renata Glasc poisons you? You end up working for her.

The new crowd control mechanic ‘Berserk’ is going to be introduced with Renata Glasc and it looks absolutely nutty. What was Riot even thinking? She will have extremely long cooldowns to compensate for her strong kit.

This is the type of enchanter we’ve been asking for. No more Mrs Lulu cute girl, we have an evil enchantress and she looks amazing and has a unique and interesting feel to her like no other. Now if only her ADC partner would understand what to do when her W is active…

More Top Lane Changes in Patch 12.04

Now you might be thinking ‘more top lane changes?’ and we have a simple answer: Yes. In Patch 12.02 and Patch 12.03 Janna and Karma top have been abusing the meta and winning games left and right.

The issue of the roaming top enchanters has already been addressed by League of Legends Design Lead RiotPhroxzon and they will look into a fix for this issue in the coming patch. With how powerful these champions have been we do think it’ll be a fix in Patch 12.04 already.

Fighter Item Adjustments

Fighter items had their health cut, making fighter much more susceptible in fights. With such a big and disruptive change hitting summoner’s rift, we do believe that there will be a few adjustments made in the upcoming patch to some of the changes.

The balance team has a lot on their hands, and they will have to make sure that such a big change won’t be a one and done deal. There are a lot of changes to look at and whether certain items overshot or undershot expectations.

New Shockblade Skins

Of course, we know that we will be getting new Shockblade skins for three champions in Legaue of Legends Patch 12.04. You’ll be able to pick them up in your shop a few days after the patch drops!

These are the champions getting Shockblade skins:

• Qiyana
• Kassadin
• Shen

Renata Glasc will also be getting a skin upon her release, but it will be an Admiral skin.

When Will LoL Patch 12.04 be Released?

The release date of League of Legends Patch 12.04 is going to be February 16, 2022. So, get ready, don’t spend all your money on Valentine’s Day, because you will have to spend some on the new Renata Glasc skin!
